The 2 appearances that The Beatles made 60 years ago at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium that he's referring to were on Aug. 28th and 29th, 1964. While it's a good version, even with 2 female backup singers in his band, The Beatles still sang it in a higher key. That's why so few artists had big hits with Beatles covers. They were terrific singers in addition to songwriters and inventive instrumentalists.
