The big clue that its based on Animal Farm. Is the Black writing on the white wall at the beginning of the Vid. It's the 7 rules the Pigs came up with after the animals, led by the pigs, revolted against the humans and took over the farm. For those who don't Know, Animal Farm is a giant satire base on the Russian Revolution. The 3 main pig characters Old Major, Napoleon, and Snowball. They are said to represent one of the three major figures of the Soviet Union at that time. At the end of the the vid the symbolic picture of Ren and the 2 pigs just behind him, and the other animals behind them, says were coming to revolt and take over 😂

I really enjoy your reviews! Every other time I listen to it I close my eyes. With my eyes closed it isn’t ‘dark’ as it harkens my mind to Illest Of Our Time. With my eyes open, Orwell’s Animal Farm comes more into view and adds a secondary layer. It helped that Animal Farm’s 7 rules was actually written on the wall. I guess this was filmed last year before he left for Canada. Can you imagine? In 2022, he had no idea how many people would now be watching and enjoying his work in 2023.

@Cliff Beats like others said in the comments its based around george orwell's animal farm book, but if you look on the wall, he has the same 7 rules from the book written on the wall about the animal farm reference. and there is also the reference to the book clockwork orange by how he is dressed and all the references to that book as well in this which I find fascinating. Ren is absolutely killing it with this album. I can not wait to see what he does next.

I think he is paying tribute to cult film classics ..Animal Farm being the main theme based with scenes from these classics like The Shining (girl on bike in hallway) Witches of Eastwick ( 3 girls around Rens feet ) A clockwork orange ( dressed in white with a cane ) Silence of the Lambs ( cannibal stair scene with lamb ) the chocolate factory (the beat ) Wind in the willows and creature from the black lagoon ( bathroom scene toad and creature in bath ) All cult classical movies..
