@@krillinbaldhead9863 The 2 Capcom D&D games were certainly a successor to this game. King of Dragons sorta plays like a hybrid of Magic Sword and a beat em up. The D&D games took that formula and then made it even more rpg like with multiple routes & a larger moveset similar to Golden Axe 3.

There was a spiritual successor, called Dragon's Crown. The creator, while unaffiliated with King of Dragons, cited it as among the game's many inspirations. Played it on playstation... 3? It's excellent.
