I have the 6000...going on few years now. Paired with bluefish 14 foot 2 to 4 ounce. Beautiful combo... Light weight reel.. Smooth.. Great drag.. Line capacity is decent. Loaded with 30 pound braid... Some times 20..perfect reel. Anyone concidering buying a bb reel.. Won't go wrong. Great video

I have a 6000 that I use for saltwater only - the only gripe is that the bearing is not stainless steel as mine seized up and I had to replace it.

Need to keep those bearings well greased ans service every few months if you can

Weakness is the clicker wire under the spool

Sadly Most budget reels suffer in this regard, some pricier reels even have plastic ones, need to spend double this budget for a good longterm clicker such as a penn battle iii

You can’t expect the best reel clicker for a reel sub R1500 unfortunately. But in general, these are fantastic reels for the price!
