I loved early KOF and how damn gritty and metal it was. Blood everywhere, brutal sound effects, the game just brought the reality of street fighting right into your face. Cap it all off with Rugal just slashing his own chest to feel ALIVE. These days, KOF doesn't even have blood splatters anymore.
