I love the fact that this team's theme song is very unique in its song's structural build. It had a recurring chaotic riff motif but also combined with a foreshadowing supernatural horror cue music just to give a clue of the true nature of the New Faces team.

In all the official KoF artwork I've seen as well as in Shermie's ending in SNK Heroines, it's Yashiro on guitar, Shermie on "keytar," and Chris on the mic. Shermie presumably also handles the drum machine samples. Why the hell anyone would allow Chris on mic after having to listen to his jumping CD all day, I don't know. In any case, the other canon band is Kensou on guitar, Chin on bongos and Athena singing (KoF95 special ending). The other pseudo-canon band is "Band of Fighters": Terry on drums, Kyo on guitar, Iori on bass, Nakoruru on keyboard and Athena on the mic. For a time this was an animatronic display at Neo Geo World, and also appears in SNK Heroines.

Recuerdo que cuando escuche la música del Face New Team , (ni siquiera sabia que se llamaban así) fue precisamente en el año 97. La maquina acaba de llegar al local donde yo jugaba y como ya había terminado la 96 con casi todos los equipos sin pensarlo la probé. Lo primero que me sorprendió fue la elección de los dos sistemas de juego pero fue llegar a este equipo y escuchar su tema lo que me engancho aún mas. En muchas ocasiones alargaba los combates contra ellos solo para poder escuchar toda la melodia.
