Pohx has the best league starter build guide I've ever seen. His website has literally everything you could possibly want for a new player, or new league starter. I test ran this last night on standard while playing his 1-10 youtube walkthrough and it was smooth as silk. Can't wait to do it again today.

One thing I will say as a new player is I love how many builds there are. It feels like there are so many with so many possibilities that everything feels new each league, at least to me. New mechanics, using a new build, just a ton of fun honestly, and huge thank you to everyone who take the time to create these kinda of build guides!!

What he said, 10c budget leaguestarter build might become 2000c as prices fluctuate depending on demand and droprates.. or vice versa. Same affects endgame, that smooth leaguestarter might be really expensive to gear into red maps if plenty of people decide to play the same build. That being said, it IS fun trying some new build every league in addition to new league mechanics. This is just a "buyer be vary" sticker :D

I have started with RF for the past 3 leagues and the ONLY real genuine awesome advice I can give is simply this: if you're holding down your fire trap ability while standing still, be weary of your eyes glazing over, causing a cross eyed vision. That's literally it. Sometimes it's easy to watch the hp bar go to 50% and it immediately shoot back to 100%. But when it hits -30% you are essentially in one shot range. And if you're cross-eyed and spamming q (my fire trap button) you may just pop. Considering you literally "pop" mobs with infernal cry, you also are susceptible to the same thing. Though because of your negligence. Great tankiness comes with a lot of arrogance. So remember to use your eyes and your brain in tandem. Even if the build is so braindead in comparison to other builds

Pohx did a great job here explaining slowly, and simply without abreviations, some of the other guides from other guests were pretty nerdy and not easily understood, as though they were speaking only to people who already get how the build works already.

RF is always a safe bet. Since i dont have much time for the first days or even weeks of the league, i will probably go for the good old reliable RF to get some currencies before switching to something new and exciting. Can absolutely recommend this to newer players, nowhere else you could get more explanations and tips for a build. Almost every possible question you have or problem you encounter will be answered in pohx' wiki or in his many, many RF videos.

I'd recommend, if you keep dying, try replacing Infernal Cry with Immortal call + Cast when damage taken. Also you don't get oneshot from ambush explosion, and it helped me pass the 93 LVL + go crazy fast with ambush farming.

I wouldnt play a onemanaleft build unless you're prepared to dump a ton of currency into your character. I've played his builds many times, and there are lots of mistakes you can make, and they can get expensive really quickly.

Rf is great, made POE less of a clickfest and less wrist pain for me. Though it would be nice if GGG put in a way to turn off or greatly reduce the circle ring. After levelling to like lvl95 it just became way too hard on my eyes with the burn in of the fat circle.

Man, I so wish you could level with RF. I have always wanted to play, but the leveling with melee skills is such a pile of dog manure, I can never make it to the point where you can use it. Molten Stike is the best you can get and its a horrible skill. Feels awful.
