3:44 Unfortunately there are no stores that have different kinds of monitors on display anymore. It's all just Bestbuy and they only carry IPS and AMOLED monitors, and nothing else. No TN panels, no Fast-TN panels, not even any VA panels anymore.

it's okay though because if you have an OLED phone and it doesn't hurt your eyes, it's safe to say that backlight strobing wouldn't either. they both operate like PWM flicker yet backlight strobing is synced to the refreshrate which makes it even nicer on your eyes than normal amoled flicker.

@oxalt Unfortunately this is not the case for me. Any light at all affects me negatively but there are reflective LCD monitors out now I just haven't bought one yet. But out of all the different types of lit LCD, TN has been the best for me.

@oxalt Thanks, it's all light but blue light does have an impact more than others. It's likely more of a neurological issue in how my brain processes light. Sometimes it's like looking at the sun so to speak and all I see is blinding light and other times I can see just fine and it doesn't feel too bright but that's usually because I haven't been on the computer in a while.

Hi ZXTECH, I focus on playing FPS games like CS2 and Hunt: Showdown, occasionally diving into Apex Legends. I've found that a 360Hz monitor exceeds my budget, so I'm considering either the ZOWIE XL2546K TN 240Hz or the ViewSonic OMNI XG2431 240Hz. I prioritize motion clarity over color quality. Could you advise which of these monitors might offer better motion clarity for gaming? Your insights would be really helpful in my decision-making process. alternatively, if you have a better suggestion for a monitor please recommend it! , if pc specs would help make this easier i have an rtx3070ti and an i5 13600k with 32gn ram, thanks in advanced! :D

If its all about motion, the xl2546K is better marginally

if the 360hz exceeds your budget but by not that much (by not that much i mean like $50) then you will better off waiting for the xl2546x. It has better tech and the monitor might be $20-$50 more than the xl2546k

I have a rtx 4070 super and a Ryzen 9 7950x3D, it gives me an average of 470 fps in Halo Infinite, with this zowie should I limit my fps to 240, limit it to 360 or leave the Fps unlocked to have the best performance?

dyac+ motion clarity is quite close to oled - also oled is a whole lot more expensive. The future is OLED for sure! But right now not for.most

@@ZXTech Dyac is good but tracking and see targets from faraway is lot more easier on 1440p if zowie make 1440p 360hz with Dyac+ I would buy it immediately. I'm specifically talking about 1440p resolution.

lol all monitors work on stretched res and personally i feel like 360hz is a super smooth monitor and the xl2546k is just as good as the 360hz, just feel a bit worse but not that you will play better on the 360hz (while in some scenarios it did feel like the 360hz is smoother). But if you’re going to get the 240hz, wait for the xl2546x. It might be a little bit more expensive but i think zowie will only slightly increase the price and the tech on that monitor is better than that of the xl2546k
