What words can express such a perfection ? such refinement ? Those men are the pride of our civilization. Thank you.

I agree entirely, however I don't know if "pride" is the correct expression for the clear devotion they exude, especially as it relates to hymns to the Divine. I'd say what has already been said, that men like these are "a beacon to civilization!"

As a young bride from Wyoming, I first saw the Kings Singers live in London, way back in the day in 1974. Since then, back in Wyoming, I have tracked them over the years via vinal record albums, CDs, DVDs, and now You Tube. The singers change but the sound doesn’t. Right on! 🙋🏼♀️⛰♥️🌠

I was a young freshman music student at Baylor in 1975 when the King's Singers stopped on tour. They were magnificent, and I was hugely impressed - and intimidated - when a member of the ensemble (I'm sorry to say I can't remember which one) stopped into my voice lesson that afternoon to chat with my teacher, the late, great John McFadden. Singing for these two brilliant performers was unforgettable, and a little frightening. Anyway, I've been a fan ever since.

I sang in a semi-professional choir growing up, and a staple of our Christmas repertoire was their arrangement of "Gaudete", which still sticks to my family even decades later (my eldest sibling sang in another choir, whose Chrismas programs also often featured that carol). I note that The King's Singers do perform a number of songs, mostly contemporary popular songs, with an accompaniment. But I do like them best when they're singing a cappella. Then the music relies solely on their own harmony and I can appreciate the beauty of that harmony, just as it is, undisguised -- and I can even appreciate the beauty of each voice. I don't know of any other group of singers I think are as excellent as these guys -- and even though the personnel has changed over the years, they've managed to keep up their high standard. The two counter-tenors constantly surprise me -- that they can sing so beautifully using their falsetto voices is amazing. I note that as of today, only three of the singers seen in this video are still singing -- the other three have moved on and three new singers have replaced them.
