Great stuff. This does indeed appear to be a filmed live performance by the band. It's good to see Mick letting loose on his drums in this blues number. I could be wrong, but I suspect the dancers were probably added at a later date. I imagine the band were recorded first, allowing for a dance routine to be rehearsed, perfected, and filmed in the following days. The two performances would then be edited together for the final broadcast. They call it 'TV magic'. Thank you for making this historical clip available for our viewing pleasure.

Me: "Dad, can I have a guitar like that for Christmas? I can be a guitarist when I grow up" Dad: "No, it's too exprensive and noisy." Me: "Okay. Gee, maybe I'll be a dancer like that when I grow up." Dad: "We're not waiting for Christmas. I'm taking you the the music shop tomorrow to buy a guitar!"
