Kitfox Aircraft showed not one but two Experimentals powered by the new 160-hp Rotax 916 at AirVenture 2023. We caught up with Kitfox's Brandon Petersen, whose own Kitfox has pride of place at the corner of the company booth. High pressure in the cowel area caused by forward speed of the aircraft.

@@266Larry Making the air turn 90 degrees and also go around all of the plumbing around the engine isn’t very efficient. I am glad my RANS has a dedicated air scoop that feeds directly into the intercooler.
