today, the kitten inside the carrier bag was abandoned next to a garbage dump. I don't know why the kitten was abandoned, but it needs food and love.
I brought him to the area where I feed stray cats. The mother cat and a lot of kittens live here.

I think this is a different situation to the normal dumpings and not caring. Look how clean and healthy that kitten is and look at the good state of the carrier bag. They are not cheap. If someone discarded the kitten because they hated it, they wouldn't leave a pet bag like that. In fact, they would just leave it on the ground there. I think they knew the pet bag would stand out in an area that was a dump and knew that it was regularly attended by people so also knew the kitten would be found fairly quickly. Who's to know, the owner may have hung around to make sure too. If no-one had come and it was getting dark, he or she may have retrieved the kitten and sought out another way of abandoning the animal. I assume they just wanted to make sure someone found the kitten and they also left it in the bag so that it would be sitting in a clean environment and not wandering around. That is just my take on things - rightly or wrongly, I don't think it was a malicious act. Perhaps the owner couldn't afford to keep the animal and the country has a lot of strays so trying to advertise to find an adopter that way may not be that easy.

Beautiful kitten was just sitting there, all packed up and ready for you to save him😅. He will be fully entwined with his new family very soon! Mama is fine with another mouth to feed as long as you are bringing plenty of food to feed everyone 😹!

Merece um lar seguro com telas nas janelas pra evitar que ele saia pra ruas lá só trazem sofrimentos, atropelamentos e envenenamentos .
