The Knights of Ni demand a sacrifice! One hilarious scene of countless others from an incredibly witty, revolutionary film. Yes, you read that right. If you have not seen this film, you must.
The influence and impact of this film, among their hundreds of other completely original contributions is incredible. Chances are, you encounter multiple Monty Python references on a daily basis and don't even realize it.
The timelessness of their collective works is as influential and fundamentally significant to comedy and entertainment as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and were to music.
So go, right now, and find a way to watch it. Check Netflix, Amazon, your Cable listings, Roku Player, Apple TV, the Local Video Store... Even if you have attempted to watch it in the past but just couldn't hang, sit down and give it another shot. You won't regret it.

A short story for those still skeptical...
I first had a chance to watch 'Holy Grail' at age 16 during class in high school. It was a free day in class to do something other than busy work, but even in a dark classroom with nothing else to do, I didn't get it. I couldn't understand what was so darn funny, and though I wasn't the only one, I still felt like I must be missing something.
About 10 years later I encountered the film again. Upon hearing that I hadn't really seen it and that I didn't enjoy what I had seen, my friend insisted I give it another chance. I vehemently opposed, but he put it on in spite of my verbalized intent to depart if he did. Realizing that leaving because of the movie choice was silly, I sat down.
So there I was, pouting and considering my other options anticipating a long, boring waste of time, and squinting skeptically through the opening credits. Phonetically spelled words about a moose? All the while my friend is giggling hysterically.
The cognitive dissonance I was experiencing began escalating rapidly to disgruntled annoyance. I began to question my choice of friends. Have I been oblivious this whole time that my friend is really a moron? What was so funny about this? (Wait-now it's freaking llamas? W. T. H.)
Then (finally!) came the opening scene. Set in England, the sound of horses approaching... maaaaybe I can make it through after all. I like those things. It was at the conclusion of that thought that it happened--I laughed. In disbelief and utter surprise, I laughed again, and again, and again. My world forever changed by coconut shells and swallows.
Now get on with your quest! And don't forget the shrubbery!
