The Knit Stitch for Beginners - Learn to Knit

Hi, thank you so so much. I watched about three videos so far on the knit stitch for beginners and I started to follow in the beginning then I got completely lost. Almost all the videos had the same thing in common. They weren’t explaining that when you make a stitch on the right needle, you take a stitch off of the left needle. Most people in the videos were just stating and drop off the left needle so the whole time I wasn’t putting any stitches on my right needle because I was going to the same exact stitch on the left needle, lol. This video was perfect paste and you explained it very thoroughly.

Omg. This is literally the most detailed explanation I’ve ever seen. People just show you how to knit but never show you WHY you do certain motions and how it makes an actual stitch

Hi, I'm learning how to knit and I have 2 questions. 1) My yarn keep on getting longer and longer in between my needles. How do I fix that? 2) I can't seem to put a stitch into the first loop--the slipknot. It never works out. How do I do it?
