I purchased 3 MINISFORUM UN1265 Mini PCs for work at the office around last Thanksgiving. So far they have outperformed our old PC's by a wide margin. They boot up quickly and start programs very well. For retro gaming, you should be limited only by the performance of the emulator itself and the lack of a dedicated video card that you can have in a standard gaming PC. This computer has the same specs as the ones I got earlier. I suppose it is a new model just coming out.

This is able to upgrade M.2, ram and even to WiFi 7 with Bluetooth and a Extra SSD.. performance looked great on this little titan seems to get my Thumbs up. Great review RGG. Only con I see is your stuck at 2.5g lan port however for 98% of the users this will never be a issue.

Like these mini pc reviews.I do not have the option yet.But in the future I would like to buy one.Hopefully we can get a external 6 or even a 8TB SSD for more options.

Question: When you test out these PC's is there a Plug n' Play hard drive you use (that you would recommend that has the best menus, emulators, set-up, ease-of-use, all the games, etc...); or are you just manually loading up your games from an external HD and downloading the emulators yourself? For the ease of use for my kids, I would rather have a plug & play set-up like the Time Machine you reviewed earlier, but I'm willing to buy a Mini PC and a 5 to 12 TB hard drive that already has all the games on it (for the power and more higher powered consoles), if it can work like a plug & play set up.

For the same price you can get a Ryzen 7 6800H Mini PC that comes with the Radeon 680M which is much better than Intel UHD graphics. But if you don't care about gaming than this Kodlix is the way to go!

Any of the Intel processor mini pc are good up to ps2 at best. Why? The iGPU is usually good to 1.2ghz. not enough GPU speed. AMD 4800h iGPU runs at 1.6ghz. 5800h and up mini PCs iGPU run at 2000mhz or 2ghz and higher.
