About me:
My name is Anthony Chisnall. I'm a musician & songwriter.
My channel is these things:
1. A place to share my music - both songs and instrumental pieces. Much of the music I write features in...
2. Tutorial videos about music composition and production
3. An outlet for me to discuss all things musical - including technical break-downs of software and tools that I use, as well as more wide-ranging discussions of topics that interest me.
I play the guitar (electric, acoustic, and bass), and record all of my own synth-based sounds myself too, but I can't sing very well (huge understatement!), and so my wife, Pauline, who has a lovely singing voice, has come to my rescue. You'll hear her on all of my songs.
All of my music is written in Steinberg's Cubase (currently Cubase 12).
I try very hard to make my videos PRACTICAL and no-nonsense - if I don't use a feature, I'm not going to waste your time trying to sound like an expert on it! This is the stuff I use day-to-day, so I think that's also what you'd like to hear me talking about.

Have you made sure to click the notification bell as well ? Default KZbin has this turned off when subbing

@@R1PPA-C yes mate thats how it came up in me notifications for this one just now - youtube so buggy with channels its ridiculous . all my timestamps on videos dissapeared all at same time two years ago n they cant even fix that or know why :*( lol

Thank you for every excellent tutorial guide you have created. You are my first choice when I am seeking to expand my knowledge in every subject you cover. If you are willing, please create a guide for buying a physical keyboard. It would be ideal if you could include both a "best for budget" option AND a "sky's-the-limit unlimited budget" option as well as full-size (88-keys) and a compact unit, again with emphasis on budget vs unlimited budget. Most guides only focus on quality within a budget. Some of us would like to know what is the very best available without any regard for budget. Thanks in advance, and a HUGE thanks for your Guitar Tutor software! I cannot say enough about how awesome Guitar Tutor is, and I strongly recommend it to any musician, as it is a huge benefit for any and all types of instruments. I also think all of your fans, both long-time and new, would appreciate if you added a link to download and install Guitar Tutor to the description of every future video you post. Thank you again, for all the time and effort you put into creating top-notch content for viewers like myself on KZbin!

Thanks very much for the kind feedback, I really appreciate it! I'm not the right person to give buying advice on keyboards, since I have a very limited budget, and have what I have. I bought an NI S49 because I'm a big fan of their integrated approach to hardware and software production, but I don't have much to compare it to. I just did my online searches, picked my feature-set, and plumped for the S49. As for Guitar Tutor, it's a Patreon/Channel Member perk these days, (with free updates to the current version) and that's why I don't link it in my videos. (I recently suspended the website since I don't have time to properly maintain it.)

I would still wager that you have much to offer with regard to "things to look for" in a keyboard, but I accept your stance and appreciate your reply very much. Thanks again for all your efforts!
