It goes even deeper than our fathers and grandfathers, if you’re talking about the Black community we have a dark traumatic past and until we heal as a community from it we will continue to deal with a bevy of issues.

As young black men we have to have our own goals. Being respectful and honest is cool. Validation isn't needed to be original. Most of us were raised by narcissistic women (Moms, aunts, and grandmas) and they aint married. We have to create our own structure and be consistent to self above all.

Well, as an average guy who’s been called lame, short and ugly since 7 yrs old…I’ll say I’ve been taking Ls for the guys who’ve been in the “cool kids club”. They’re tall and good looking, so the women don’t look any further into his character, he smashes, treats her like crap, dips out and she blames everyone, including me who she never wanted in the first place…this is crazy.

fast food spots got a high ass turnover rate for a reason..After My senior year in HS I was working a grill spot by a Mall half mile away from a Walmart & 2.5 miles way from a night club…Bruh….them ppl had me doing 3 ppl jobs by myself at the night shift plus i was doing some stuff the manager should’ve been doing.. it was a constant barrage of ppl coming in I know for a fact we made more that 2-3 k in an hour…I was super burnt out. I’d leave that place feeling like i just did a bid..it was crazy. My next job i worked at a Warehouse it was Soooo much Easier on me. Bruh I give ppl working them jobs all the respect..it’s so much stress I know for a fact more than half the ppl working them jobs ain’t sober..I peeped an took advantage i became an “urban pharmatical sales rep”…No degree tho.. while i was on the clock cuz your boy was broke. Im telling you if you push anything most ur customers/consumer base will work fastfood warehouses construction & be college kids and in healthcare/medical jobs..

The problem is there are two different messages being sent. On one side men are being told you can only reach a certain height alone and that a good woman by your side will help you elevate higher while women are being told today that the sky is the limit whether you have a good man in your life or not. The need for each other is only being told one way in today's time.

Exactly I refuse to believe that until a man finds a woman there is a limit or cap on how successful he can grow and succeed. As men we should actually be insulted that until I find someone I won’t be able to progress as far as I want to go.

I have a question about at 1:20:30 tho, why must the pretty girl always be the person to treat the regular Joe wrong? why can't good women be pretty(like undeniable beauty) at the same time? It's almost as though being beautiful and being a good person are two mutually exclusive characters in today's dating scene.

She shouldn't have married that man. There had to be signs that she would have these kind of problems with him. This stuff should have been corrected before she married him for sure. I wouldn't have accepted a proposal and be dealing with that mess & ain't no way he just started out of nowhere. And like I always say if you can't afford a habit you shouldn't have it. This man can barely pay the bills spending $600 a month on weed. That man biting the hand that's feeding him smh 🤦‍♀️ she can't bring no kids into that mess.

In my opinion on the first topic. Fellas just look at your own positions then tell me men like you and me dropped the ball! No not at all! That same small group of OG Fboys from back in the day is the same group of Fboys doing what they do today. Remember bad news spread 10times than good. The reason you see more dudes married than women is because of technology and how information is manipulated today.

I love men, want men, need men - yet I will not tolerate the nonsense most men bring with their package. I would prefer not participate, I love my life! Why bother and NOT every woman is belligerent about these facts. They are what they are. Many of us have conceded that many men are just not capable of what we prefer AND WE AREN'T LYING TO OURSELVES ABOUT THAT ANYMORE. Fine men, you win. You got over. From what it sounds like, women were right about men's true intentions from day one and we just don't want the same things and never did. Men will beg and swear 100 ways that they consider your "relationship/family" expectations and that they match. Yeah right. It's the wolves watching the hen house pretending they are sweet bunnies. Men don't want to risk going without or losing their shot, so they lie from the jump. That sets the tone of social norms that we have today.

I'm 40 minutes and I understand you guys put a huge amount of accountability on men as far as leadership, I get that. However, you guys are leaving out the number one component and that is, women fought to do and have the opportunity to do everything that they are doing now. In my opinion you had a surplus of men back in the day particularly in the black American community that were okay being a clean up man but that is rapidly changing. And that's not black men fault. You cannot lead a person who refuses to be led.
