First of all, congratulations on presenting such a huge event Wade! I can’t fathom the growth you’ve undergone in the past 2 years. Absolutely super proud and happy. Second, I remember KSI screaming “WHY DO YOU THINK I’M HERE?” when you asked him if he’s still interested in the Jake fight. I actually think Alex did the best possible thing with ksi,which is simply trying not to engage much in the trash talk,because simply alex doesn't have anything against ksi,he doesn't see it as personal,he doesn't hate ksi,he doesn't view him as an inferior being like ksi does to Alex,he knows he's gonna be a tough fight,and Alex is there just to compete,he clearly isn't doing it for ppv sales,Alex knows whatever he's gonna say to ksi,ksi will just laugh at it,make fun of it or disregard it,so that's the thing why bother? Ksi is a loud mouth,even if Alex tried to talk,ksi wouldn't let him he would just talk over him,ksi also tends to bring family into the trash talk,which I don't think Alex wants,Alex simply did the best course of action because first,it prevents the fight feeling personal to him,becaus he's just not engaging in the trash talk and when he brought up things like being kod infront of his brother,he simply ignored. second,Alex probably knows there's a chance he'll lose,Alex isn't taking ksi lightly,and Alex also knows he doesn't have the respect of anyone yet,so he can't go trash talking around,saying he will win or knock people out,because he only had one fight with a bad fighter,if he beat ksi then he will actually have some credit to his name and he will actually be able to trash talk without being taken lightly. third,it helps him focus on training,as I said he's not interested in ppv sales,that's why he doesn't really put effort in the marketing,that's all ksi,as I said Alex doesn't take him likely,he knows ksi is trying to get in his head,simply ignoring him prevents that from happening in a way,so he just focuses more on training with a clear mind. and I'm not saying he will win,I'm simply saying why he's not really engaging in the trash talk.
