This has to be one fo the best 5th gen boy group songs to be released in 2024. Hell... this may be the best boy group song released in 2024 after ONF Bye My Monster. I stan EVNNE so maybe I am biased, but seriously... how could anyone not love this song? This is such a beautiful, youthful song full of everything you could ask for; vocals, dancing, visuals. You name it. It's such a shame that this song isn't everywhere 😭

This is the best transition ive seen of a new group going from kind of dark styles to brighter, sometimes those can be little too cute and lose the intense choreo, but this has the perfect balance of light and dark, like you said, and directs the passion and power into a different feeling that has more depth, not less, than the darker songs

This is definitely my favorite take on the current schoolboy trend by far. Usually I hate the songs that come with this concept, but they did a great job putting a unique twist on it and keeping it upbeat while still being sentimental. Combining it with the sports camp thing and the Wilson homage definitely helped switch it up.

I think it's bc the concept they were conveying (imo) wasn't "we are school boys", it's "We WERE school boys". It's nostalgic as hell, and nostalgia is a bittersweet feeling. So it's cute but very emotional.

When people comment on how versatile or different Evnne is from other groups...sometimes they forget that they are under the same agency as VIXX who are the kings of concepts in the industry. Jellyfish always tries to stand out musically and cinematically, they create artists and that is appreciated in an industry where everything seems to be copy-paste.

And yes, it was Lee Jeonghyeon who sang "gakkaweojineun Light geogi geudaero isseojweo". You gotta listen to the English version, it's really good too! Also, if you like Badder Love, I think you're gonna like the rest of the tracks from Evnne's Ride or Die album as well. The album has been on my repeat for days.
