Damn my ults shinee and one of the most interesting group(concept wise) vixx. Red velvet and shinee have NEVER followed trends. Rv had psycho and even tho it hit so big they never did a psycho 2.0 and instead did a soft new vocal focused comeback with queendom and then a classical/pop/edm one. Shinee MAKES trends. They come back with a new concept that nobody else did before. They don't follow trends, they make it. Now that I ult fromis now as well, I've seen the same with them. They didn't do girl crush JUST to hit big and get money. They followed their own concept while subtly changing it to match their age more. Nothing wrong with doing cute/bubbly/weird songs but there are groups who grow older and if atleast half of the group doesn't want to continue doing one concept, they gotta change it slightly while staying loyal to their roots. I haven't seen a group who stayed with their debut concept til now. Cuz idols debut SO young nowadays and once they hit 18/19 they don't want to continue it. Be it cuz of age or cuz they want to try something else. Apink stayed loyal to their soft sound for years and still stayed big. They changed to elegant and sexy later after they were solidly popular and loved and were adults and wanted to try something new. I love when a group has their OWN sound. Doesn't follow the trend. I love how escape room is sexy but not girl crush. They are just so immensely talented which is why they are slowly becoming my ults as well together with shinee and rv.

I like We Go just a little bit more than Feel Good due to certain sections such as Seoyeon and Jiwon's parts. And especially cause this comeback will have OT9 promotions! There were quite a few times where fromis_9 did not promote as 9 in the past, so this comeback was a blessing in my opinion 😌

You’re so spot on with the Covid message. The zoom call and places to go - perfectly told in the context of a summer vibe. The other thing I like about We Go is the lyrics really sound like they are inviting Flovers to join them when things are better. And while the phone call was a little jarring, you can see the one who’s calling has a caller ID of “Flover”! I think the message is for fans to be patient. I also saw meaning with the washing machine and the reflection of the plane. It follows the theme of stuck at home but them wanting to travel. And of course, they can’t because things are ‘dirty’. Plus, sometimes you can find yourself in front of the washing machine drifting off or daydreaming. The editing can also symbolize wanting to have control over the final product. Yet, real life means you get errors, interruptions, even typing “paradise” they had to correct a typo. So so good. I love this song and I love this group. 10/10 for me! Also, their b-side track Airplane Mode is sooooo good. The vibe is so smooth.

i think feel good suffered from the limbo fromis_9 was stuck in at the time - we didnt know if they were disbanding after the IS scandal or if they were ever having a comeback (and if so, what the reaction would be), and maybe because of the uncertainty the company didn't feel like investing too much into it. now that we know fromis can come back from the grave, kill it and that flover will always back them up, their company finally decided to go the extra mile for them.

Those outdoor dance shots were actually outdoors, but the members revealed that the weather was rainy and cloudy so they had to edit a blue sky above. They also adjusted the lighting during editing to make it feel brighter. But the trees were real and it was outdoors!

i think this would be a lovely song to listen to and reminisce on the times of covid once the pandemic ends. the laggy zoom calls, the empty store shelves, the memes. the ups, the downs, the memories. watching the mv just really makes me look back on this past year and praise myself for making it through it all. the song itself is addicting and fun and mature, a blend of good elements for a summery song, and almost reminds me of iz*one. and i love, love, LOVE iz*one's discography hahah. will definitley have this on repeat this season and further.
