"That Helios bitch" I have never laughed harder but I thoroughly agree with you :'D Come Back Home had a longer story teaser than what was showed in RTK. The story told us that Helios got jealous of the 6 monarchs because the humans loved them more than Helios so he threatened the humans to take their sun away, in the end the humans sacrificed the monarchs and their servants and so they were exciled into a world of eternal darkness (and got cursed to be vampires). The ghouls Oneus are fighting in the Come Back Home music video are actually their servants who grew slightly insane and started worshipping the moon and wanted to sacrifice the child to break that curse Helios bestowed upon them. And you know what happened then. So from my understanding, the 6 monarchs hide the crown and the necklace with the souls of the defeated in them and leave. Helios son dies and he gets pissed so he blames the monarchs because he's a b!tch. I think the gun shot scene wasn't as random as it initially seems. The monarchs wake up after hundreds of years and their story is a story of war, I think it's supposed to symbolize that wars are fought differently now and to show that well decades have passed since they fell into their slumber. I think the white scenes are from when they were monarchs in their lives before, and the dark stuff could be them in their exile after Helios blames them. also the structure where they are trapped by the gold would be them sleeping in their "cage" the hands represent Helios' hold on them and they all have different nightmares as they slumber, Xion with his possessed hands, Leedo bathing in blood (maybe of innocents or the blood the spilt during the war), Hwanwoog with thorns which could represent them being sacrificed, Seoho being bound to a pole, Keonhee starving, Ravn being forced to kill. this video just gets better the more I watch it...

I think the choreo starts with Seoho mimicking slicing open his hand or arm and that is what "wakes" Hwanwoong. Pretty cool tie-in with the rest of the MV, similar to the scene with Keonhee being fed blood and waking as well.

For the guns I feel like it wasn't random at all, in the storyline, the monarchs have fallen into a slumber (which would explain why they start by laying on the ground, sleeping) and since CBH, hundreds of years have passed. So the medieval set is replaced by something more modern, hence the guns. You can see them in thevery beginning in a set that I would describe more ancient with the buffet and the city that we see them looking at at some point is them hundred years after that

I think those hands marks on Leedos back signify the wings he had in Valkyrie. The red jeweled necklace contains their soul. I believe the guns signifies how much time has past. I would like to highlight a very important detail I haven't seen anyone talk about yet: You can see in every group's career the defining moment of BEFORE and AFTER their participation in Queendom or Kingdom. Seriously baffling how the competitive aspect of this show help everyone step up their game. I don't stan any boy group, I watched Road to Kingdom because Queendom was really good, "no ragret" as they say. Oneus had a hard time in there but jesus fucking christ this song is amazing. The progressions and transitions are made by a genius, this is solid stuff.

Although the one month of rtk being aired was the worst month in my life ( stressful days , stressful twt dramas , freaking nightmares ) , I have to agree ... this show was terrible , many of the participants have expressed how they didn't want to be there and wouldn't do it if they go back , mostly Oneus , but it's undeniable that the show was a really big turning point in their career ( the only group I genuinely stan and am an actual fan of is oneus , but so far , golden child , verivery and oneus's releases have topped my 2020 favorites ...musically , conceptually intense !)..... And hell yes ! The song is definitely produced by a genius ! The way it goes through like 10 different texture changes besides from a super dramatic , melancholic chord progressions , to express the pain and suffer they are going through is so insanely smart .... I don't feel people who say this song was not good ... I feel sorry for them ....

No doubt it was a rough time for the participant but I think that's on the companies royally fucking up the scheduling. (G)I-dle couldn't even be there for the first episode, Wheein missed a few episode cuz she was working on other stuff at the same time and in general Mamamoo was recording an entire album while doing the show (and had concerts the night before the first performance on Queendom). I don't know the details of the boy groups but I can easily assume it was just as bad. I think that now that it's pretty clear how this show works, companies could take this into consideration and not see this as "just showing up for Mcountdown trololol" you know what I mean. The real problem is the scheduling conflict, other than that everybody said they enjoyed having the opportunity to make award-show-worthy types of performance and really show sides of themselves they rarely have the chance to highlight. If it continues in this direction that show is gonna become like an annual must watch event. And I'm not even gonna talk about all the good it does to talented but not so well known groups like Oh My Girl, they became gigantic because of Queendom and everybody else got exposure, everyone comes out bigger and better.

The thing I like the most about this is all the symbolic hidden messages through and through the whole video, like if we check the video from RTK and Come Back Home monologue about the Monarchs at the betrayal they've suffered therefore being cursed, so the child that wears that blood diamond jewel and born of a day of an eclipse is the one they need to protect, from the war against the ghouls. Now the black hand from Xion can be about the curse, they are locked into the darkness cuffed and tied, the crown of thorns implies pain and suffering, that they are definitely paying for with their exile, the flowers have their own meaning accordingly to their proper name and type, the butterfly has tons of possible meanings from the afterlife like ressurection, cure, change or even a representation of life, that they are given by blood since its what seems to drive them out of that numbness and slumber, the bloodbath on the tub where Leedo is can mean the blood of their enemies or washing their sins, Ravn and the bodies is defeating their enemies and the constant need to kill for blood to survive and protect, hence why we see Keonhee tasting blood, the blindfold that they wear in comeback home can mean a protection or shield and used in time of eclipse, the gunmens can be mankind or the enemy trying to stop them from reaching their goal and mission which seems to be recovering the necklace in order to summon the red moon or keep it safe while waiting for the arrival of the chosen one, and there's so many more like these tiny details in this MV that is atonishing (≧∇≦)ﾉ

Something I think with the item that Leedo is holding. In Catholicism that is called a Monstrance and it is used to hold the body bread of Christ. I believe it is supposed to represent that as there are more references to Jesus through the mv like the crown of thorns some of the formations looking like he is crucified. What i find interesting though is how the monstrance is empty but he is still holding it up. Usually that hold in the middle is filled. Im pretty sure that stands that something they once reverenced is now gone or something they praised has abandoned them. But he still wants to cherish it and revere it even though nothing is there. All in all i love this music video and song. It is such an amazing comeback

Thank you so much for reacting to them:D And yeah, RtK gave them sooo much exposure! We managed to get them to 1MIL in 20 hours, when it usually took us at least a few days. Not to mention the first day sales, apparently we passed 20k, the last comeback had around 3,5k? (that's what Twitter told me lol). And we're charting on Genie at #16, the only other time that happened was with Come back home at RtK, when we were at #19! So yeah, their fanbase is definitely growing and we love to see it

This is them after they’ve moved on from protecting the boy. There’s a movie on Netflix called the Old Guard, and there is an very similar scene as the gun scene. And the premise is the ppl being shot are immortals and have been lured to the place by something (Oneus by the necklace the old guard was going after traffickers). Additionally the sun thing that Leedo holds up is similar to Helios crown insinuating they’re immortal. And PD literally pointed out the blood thing right when I was going to start typing it. Thank goodness...I didn’t want to type all that. Ok so I didn’t watch the teasers bc I don’t watch teasers. So I was absolutely guessing about the Helios thing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

the story is very much connected between 'come back home' and 'to be or not to be'. you can check out the teasers for more of that. edit: I see you have the obervation that they are sleeping in the beginning and waking up through blood is pretty cool. I found it interesting that twilight in korean title is called "the sun is falling down' and throughout come back home and to be or not to be they mention that the sun god Helios is angry at them for losing his brother and the shattered sun chariot. So I think the storyline so far is Helios' brother did something bad and the six lords stopped him somehow, hence 'the sun is falling down' in Twilight, and then the helios curses them into becoming vampires, and then in to be or not to be helios curses them into eternal sleep and if the six lords don't kill/use the blood from the descendant of the child of prophecy from come back home, they are doomed to die. So, to be or not to be.

PD, awesome that you picked up exactly on the story points without even watching the story films XD That's a good insight on the crown of thorns, since the crown at the end represents them regaining their powers, that implies that they obtained blood from the child's descendants (despite the child being the one they worked so hard to protect and love), so that could definitely represent the pain it took to regain those powers I mean, definitely already the fact that they're focusing on story is a major evolution from their previous title tracks, because we can all admit that their first four title track MVs are definitely lacking in the story department. I'm so glad I got addicted to them after hearing "Lit" XD

PD, I was rooting for you T_T You were the chosen one Why didn't you notice the red flowers/plants from ASWE MV why why why *singing in Hwanwoong's voice* And the bats were such a nice touch in that scene with the night sky and skyscrapers T_T Joking aside this song reached its hand into my chest past my ribcage, took my heart, clenched it, crushed it, dropped it in front of my face and smirked at me with Seoho's bloody face. I mean, I love it. And the story film are such a nice bonus and explanation, and it makes me look at them, my new found masters, and say "More" p.s. that's a reference to Queen of the Damned if you didn't get it. It's a Vampire movie from circa 2002
