Up10tion are a 4K group stuck in a 180p company. I hate how they are given the bare minimum for everything. MCND get tons of cgi and sets and incredible photos for the album and top media gives Up10tion one room music videos and basic white/black background photos. It also bothers me so much that Wooseok and Jinhyuk are still not back with them. Top Media swears they are still a part of the group but this is the third comeback in a row that they have not been involved with. They need to tell Honey10 they have left so we don’t get out hopes up and then get disappointed every single time 😩🥺

I mean, this is what happened to 100% when UP10TION debuted. It's what TOP Media does. And then 100% ended up disbanded. When they debut another boy group in 2-4 years, the same will happen to MCND.

Honestly, pretty much their entire discography is amazing. I love their title songs and B-sides since their debut. I highly recommend you check out their previous releases. Tbh I don't think they've ever had a title track similar to this one. They've gone the darker route, the fun summer route... But nothing like this I think. My favorite U10T title tracks you haven't reacted to are probably Catch Me, Going Crazy, and Blue Rose. But seriously, just listen to all of their songs, you won't regret it. I have to say these days I've been quite nervous about UP10TION... Every time they have a comeback I fear it's gonna be their last one. It feels like the company has kind of given up on them. It feels like it's going down the same path as their company seniors, that kept getting gradually forgotten until they disbanded. Why do I feel like many old fans have forgotten about U10T? I really wish they reached some new found popularity, they're the definition of underrated. And I do believe the MV had a pretty tight budget for the reasons I mentioned, the company probably wouldn't want to invest as much in them. The song, the video and the album all still turned out impeccable though.

I've been a fan since the beginning, ideas actually in Korea when they debuted, saw them on their second day after mini fan meeting, been to some music shows from 2015 to 2016... But I have yet to see them thrive. They could have go a Teen Top route and be more popular with the GP but they lacked some luck and had bad luck (Wooseok Somi shit 😭). But what makes me boiling with rage is the agency. TOP Media fkd up 100%, even Teen Top now, and even with Produce fame the agency wasn't able to do more for the group. I hate them so much. UP10TION deserve more. All of them. And my top 1 members are Kogyeol and Wooshin. And can't believe Honey10 waited patiently for Wooshin twice now but hope is fading faster and faster for this second time. It pisses me off. I can't bring myself to love up7tion's music as much as I loved so dangerous, white night, even crazy was dope without Wooshin because I believe up10tion still made sense, he'll be back. But heck now I'm losing hope and I hate the company so much it affects my love for each ot7 comeback. And while I loved spin off and even more this comeback, i just wish 3 more members were part of it. I can't stop myself imagining how it would have been better with another rapper, another visual and another lead singer. They are 10 and there's no way I can't feel myself being delusional hope they'll be 10 again. And still I'm longing for it and it stops me from fully loving the ot7 comebacks. I'm not saying all old fans are like that. Many just left for newer groups, more active groups, left kpop all together idc... my point is UP10TION deserve more and I can't blame all older fans for feeling less hooked with ot7 comebacks. I love them. All. And this song is wonderful, really, it's spot on what I loved in TOP media's other groups, what I believe UP10TION could be best at and it's totally my type of song. But their company is sh*t and they lacked so much luck when they are crazy talented. I'm sorry I ranted in reply, your comment triggered all these frustrations out of me. Nothing against any Honey10. I believe we all should support our boys 💛 (and sorry for any grammatical errors, not my mother tongue and I gotta get to work now)

And I think you'd have fun picking apart their video for "Going Crazy" 'cause they do a lot of weird stuff there. im so glad you loved this song, its just so gorgeous and their voices are highlighted so well. Up10tion have released some incredible title tracks recently, ive completely fallen in love! the one thing that scares me about this song however is just how sentimental it is. Up10tion are in their 7th year now, we all know what happens to a lot of groups at this sort of time. I fear a lot for them as TOP seems to be pushing them away, im slightly terrified of what this song could be suggesting

I also arrived a bit late to the party, I didn't jump on the bandwagon until "Your Gravity" dropped and I realized I already owned and loved "Runner" and "So, Dangerous". I only own their last three mini-albums, but I just love their b-sides! My faves are "All Night Long", and then basically everything from their Connection album (which was SO GOOD, I highly recommend that whole album as a listening party, it was such a fantastic selection of fantastic music). I was going to try to pick favorites and I just couldn't. One additional thing I love about Up10tion is that their live stages at their own showcases etc are actually live (over backing vocals) not auto-tuned to computer-generated perfection. It just makes me appreciate their talent and desire to be their own group (not just following trends) more. They aren't perfect, but they are talented, hard working singers and dancers and choreographers and producers who have had to grow into a whole bunch of roles they didn't initially have due to members leaving for various reasons and not having a whole lot of monetary backing from their company. So take that SM and your computer-generated idols... >.>

Blue Rose was not really my cup of tea when it released but after this - Crazy About You sounds and looks like the complete opposite but in the same vibe! Blue Rose sounds dark in contrast to Crazy About You, its such an interesting contast! I suddenly put Blue Rose back into my playlist to stream Crazy About You lol!

@@oleimac I agree, it’s kinda unfortunate circumstances though… Jinhyuk said during his solo debut that the company offered the opportunity so he took it, but then X1 disbanded right after so the precedent for going solo had been set Byungchan and Seungwoo seemed very eager to return to Victon, which I love as a fan of the group! I feel like it’s different with Up10tion though. Not to say the boys don’t support each other, they interact more than they used to (mostly on Jinhyuk’s part) Idols don’t have to publicly interact to show friendship, but it’s definitely clear to me that Seungwoo and Wooseok do not have the same trajectory in mind for their careers, whether that’s dictated by their companies or not. And this is Up10tion’s seventh year as a group so… I don’t think we’ll ever see the 10 members promote again. Which is sad to me because even though I like the boys, I really loved them as a group. So it’s really sad to me that they just never got the chance to be a full group after pdx101, though I am somewhat grateful that 2/10 got a bit of a resurgence

Yes about the subtitles- I always have to go in and change subtitles to English. This song is very pretty. I say this all the time, UP10tion’s rap line is soo good - their tones and flow are so fun. Honestly Destiny is not only my favorite UP10tion song but it’s among my fav all time Kpop songs. I believe they shot Blue Rose in a confined place also, another beautiful UP10tion song.

I love how each of the art pieces in the exhibit are all about the memories of love- so it makes it seem that they are wandering through a memory gallery either triggering the nostalgia/desire to get back with the one they miss or that desire is triggered by the pieces themselves. It makes those edits where they look like they are part of a magazine spread/exhibit catalog even more beautiful because it makes them seem part of the memory gallery themselves. About the rappers, UP10TION originally had three rappers: Bitto, Khun and Wei (Jinhyuk). Ever since Produce X 101 both Jinhyuk and Wooseok haven't participated in their group activities (which I don't understand, I've never seen a statement from TOP MEDIA about this, so as far as I know they've never officially left the group - I really wish they would promote together again 😭). Bitto is definitely my favorite rapper in the group, I looooove his voice so much! He's also my bias.

I always love hearing such in depth thoughts on things~ I've been a long time honey10 so I might be a little biased, but Up10tion has a pretty diverse set of music, so there really is something for everyone. Personal favorites of mine are the title tracks White Night, Candyland, and Blue Rose and Bsides Stuck on You, Pandora, Hot Blood, and Liar. I know you are at least familiar with the name Kim Wooseok and maybe Lee Jinhyuk, but they are also members of the group and appear in older MVs. As of right now, they have been doing solo work but I know a lot of honey10 hope one day they will return to the group along with leader Jinhoo who is doing his military service.

I think their newest albums (Novella, Connection, and Light Up) are honestly some of their best work, and could absolutely get listening parties! As far as early work that's like 'Crazy About You,' tbh theres not really anything like it (which is why they chose it, it's new for them)? But I would recommend 'White Night' and 'Going Crazy' for dramatic BG music that HITS. Also their older song 'ATTENTION,' that song is fantastic!

Actually it is the first time the group is doing a sentimental ballad-pop song as a title track but some members had already expressed for a long time that they really wanted to try this kind of concept. And it works really well because this song is really awesome! Maybe that's because I'm a HONEY10 (UP10TION fan) but like you, I'm kinda picky with ballad and so the song HAS to be good so I won't get bored and here it is so well accomplished! It is so interesting to hear your comment about the shooting of the video, to understand some details I wouldn't have paid attention to. Their MV are usually not high budget but with this one, it really feels more expensive and now I understand why thanks to you :) I recommend you listen to White Night, Going crazy, Blue Rose and Runner so you can have a look to other great UP10TION title tracks ^^

Oh you HAVE to see Attention. You HAVE to see and hear Attention. I really think it's like their magnum opus, like that's the track that SHOULD have blown them up. The video is awesome - I love the colors, the camera work, and the SONG just ROCKS. Also absolutely listen to their b-sides!!! Sunyoul is one of the best vocals in kpop rn, period, and Hwanhee is also incredible! This is their first ballad as a title track, but they have PLENTY on their b-sides. Personally I'm really into their R&B tracks. I'd recommend Call Me, Restore, Waiting For You, and like the entire latter half of their album Connection

So about suggestions of Up10tion’s *pop ballad* , I recommend Waiting For You, Empty House, Liar, Sad Ending, Just Like That, I Wish A Miracle, White Night (and more) White Night is a title track, while the others are b-sides. It is their softest title track so far, but definitely not a first try in their music. Actually, their pop ballads and regular ballads are one of the big reasons why I was so attracted to them

Up10tion are INCREDIBLE at ballads. Just Like That, which is a b-side, is one of my favorites. They're si good, it suits them so much. man, pd, you've just gotta do an entire up10tion discography listen party (and they've got a pretty hefty discography). this kind of song is not new for up10tion--as a b-side. however, for a title track, it's definitely a first. they've always done very high tempo, fun, playful kinda' songs with an occasional drop into more dark, cool, sexy concepts--especially with their Japanese tracks (and GOD those are SO worth getting into). i would honestly suggest just watching their MVs/title tracks in order from debut until present-day just so you can get a feel of how their sound has transformed and evolved all these years. and then listen to their b-sides afterward. they've had such an interesting musical journey, and i feel like watching the MVs in release order would just be very fun and exciting to witness!! as for recommendations, gosh, it's hard to pick because there are so many great songs. but for ones that are similar to crazy about you, i would suggest: "come as you are," "just like that," "habit," "come with me," "sky surfer," "destroyed" () "fall," and "sad ending." and it's still a lot LOL also, because they have 3 members missing (jinhoo [on military leave], jinhyuk, and wooseok), a lot of later songs will definitely sound different than the older ones. in my opinion, the loss of them makes a big difference. :( lastly, PLEASE don't skip out on the Japanese releases. they are soooooooooo fricking good.

This is such a mood I love this one! Truth be told all their (title )songs have always been nothing to dislike about them, but have never "hooked" me (personally)...like i'd want it in my playlist on repeat. But they FINALLY did it with this one i'm SO happy for them (that somebody gave them this gem). However in terms of what i would recommend (watching, not reacting to)...i say this every time but when i had the chance to see/meet them i knew nothing about them so i watched guides and (the hole i went in) their LIVE performances. Not because they sound/look better (cus they ACTUALLY sing live) but because of Bitto. The more i watched the more dumbstruck i was with wonder "Does this guy's voice EVER make a mistake???" His deep/powerful yet seemingly EFFORTLESS control in his breathing just made me speechless. And normally this would never work for an idol but (at least from what i saw)...other than when he's the center or the feature "dance performance (LOOK OUT!!!)...making that choreo look like he's just walking through it like "Ya ok let's just get this over with so we can go" just cracked me up. I don't know why but it just works for him. He's true to his profile too...really friendly guy, rather uninhibited compared to the others...like if time permitted i probably could've enjoyed talking with him for hours 😊

Generally when meeting people for first time (and this is not something just idols do) you're nervous & want to show your "best face" so even while interacting with fans they're still "performing." But i did not get this AT ALL from Bitto. I'm sure he's not able to "connect" with everyone (you'd need superpowers or something for that lol 😌) but i just found it very unexpected that it seemed like he's actually "taking you in" & just enjoying the experience rather than "performing."

I actually fell in love with the group when I first heard Catch Me! and I haven’t been disappointed since. The group deserves so much more promotion than they get currently (TOP Media… please) but I’m glad their discography hasn’t suffered. If only they had more comebacks…

I was curious about your reaction... because i don't usually listen to Up10tion, but i was intrigued at the very good mv and yes, i agree for the rapline too, i like it !! (i usually don't like that much ballads, no matter which group, that's just a personal taste). I think i will see that mv more that once ! ;)

They have another title track named "Crazy" that I think you'd like. White Night is still my ultimate favourite from them with its rock sound, very different in MV types 😅 but wonderful. Warning tho: if you ever go listen randomly any korean title track from UP10TION, you might experience music shocks with how different it is 🤣 Btw I'm happy to count you as a Honey10 now PD 💛 (6 years a bit late, but yes, better late than never)

Sir, you're so dang fast! Novella is indeed their best album to date. No bad song from the first to last. It is "easy" to listen to even for those who are not into K-pop. I'm glad they are supported by great producing team this time.
