The funny thing is that Yohan didn't think about becaming a rapper before, he was really interested in vocals, until he was "discovered by" Joohoney on Produce X 101, who complimented his rapping when he was rehearsing for the NCT's Boss performance. From that point foward that "rapper Yohan" became a thing. xD I remember Joohoney praising him becaming viral back in the day.

Ohh thanks to your comment i was able to see their cover of Boss ( my fav song of nct u ) , and when you mentioned Joohoney , i was like "is it the same honey i know " hhh and it was him , and the i start to remember his apparence as a mentor in pd x 101 and the "Bakksso" Thing hh. Anyways , i watched the cover and the practice too, and he really did a great job , loved his voice while rapping !

Versatile Kim YoHan! Barely had ‘idol training’ and was an elite Taekwondo athlete until 3 years ago. Just so naturally talented who can do anything and everything. He just won Best New Actor (for KBS drama School 2021) and now has a true bop of a song! A tasty DESSERT indeed. Yes, check out No More (produced by ZionT) which was released as a gift to fans (after being center with X1) & just before he redebuted with WEi. He’s amazing as Center/all Arounder in WEi as well. Yohan is really versatile. I liked how he point out he's a very cute looking person but by the end of the song he transforms to more edgy & intimidating person. Yohan's just very good at doing different concepts. He just easily fits in the mould/concept his given. Not only with his songs but in his acting as well. He has a very nice aura. Also my favorite thing about this comeback is his singing. Yohan always had a softer vocal tone but for title tracks he does more rapping. I'm glad he got to show off more of his vocals. Also he's improved a lot from his x1 days. I've been following him since pdx and he's always improving with each new project he's done. Makes me so proud of him. Thank you for reacting to dessert. The fact that Yohan have never tried rapping when he joined Oui Ent. He first tried rapping during the first mission in Produce x 101 (thanks to UP10TION's Lee Jinhyuk who helped him a lot). Plus yah he actually got very good vocals, you could check out his Produce x 101 stages (especially the Me After You performance) Anyways, I'm so proud of him. Been supporting him a lot since PDx101 and I was sooo happy when he won 1st place, debuted with X1. he could've really make it big right now if only X1 didn't get disbanded TT still happy with his career tho since he has many projects these days. stan Kim Yohan y'all! he's such a talented and humble person.

I love Dessert. Like really love it. Is such a different concept than No More and I'm happy Yohan could show a different side of him as an artist. Personally, I really like all the mini album. If you ever go back to check out PDX101, you will see even more of just how insanely talented Yohan is. He started off the show inexperienced and lacking in skills compared to the other contestants but grew insanely quickly and became the Nation's Center as 1st place. It's a shame he didn't get to show much as X1 due to an injury and their quick disbandment, but him and all the other members are soooo talented.

11:17 I was thinking the same thing. It is a good dance song, but it needs an edgier instrumental arrangement-- heavy bass and strong beats to make the style more interesting. Plus, he puts too much emphasis on dancing as a solo artist. If you are going to dance, every move needs to count, and sometimes less is more. He is still AMAZING!!!!!
