Alice fandom speculate that the mv is referencing Alice in Wonderland. I watched another reactor and they said it seems like in the beginning, Seungwoo is sucked into the mirror/game and then at the end, the member is coming out of the “box or game” onto a bigger chess board....they said it’s like they seem to reference always being a “pawn or playing piece” in some form of game. Like they finally got out of one “game” only to be thrown into a bigger “game”, if that makes sense.

Honestly when it was announced as a "latin inspired" song I was kind of freaked out because latin sounds aren't easy to achieve successfully by foreigners, but it was waaay better than I expected. Visually and in terms of music I believe it's one of their best releases so far and I think the same, it's nice to see them so confident. It's more impactful. I'm so excited to see what else they have in store for us because they tend to pull off very well every concept, either nostalgic/sad or fresh/fun. Thanks for this reaction, hopefully you'll be able to listen to the rest of the songs. The album is great ♡

The album is my favorite from Victon so far, every song is soooo good. They are 4 solo songs and I particularly love Seungsik's Carry On because it was written by the other members and it resonates a lot with Seungsik's role as Victon's leader because he only became the leader when Seungwoo left for X1 so it was a bit hard for him to take on this role and then keep it when Seungwoo came back

Not just this MV but the whole album is very clearly inspired by Alice in Wonderland, just looking at the songtitles screams AiW and this MV has soo much imagery that is connected to that. From the into the mirror thing at the start, the blue rose, chess, the royalty-esque styling, color grading... everything just screams Alice to me which is also really endearing since the fan name and the lightstick also follow that theme 😊

Thanks for the react! I've been waiting for this :) about your comment that the mv treats each member as a centre, I've heard other reactors say the same thing - "every member could be the visual / stands out". Perhaps it was intentional to show the individuality of each member in line with the arrogance/ self-fulfilment vibe that the song portrays Personally I love the nostalgic stuff as well and like you, Howling is def my favourite song by them. However I'm happy they did this new style as this has helped them gain tons of new fans esp international ones (acc to instagram and youtube follows haha). It also showcases their charisma / what they can really do performance-wise since the nostalgic songs focused more on their vocals. Overall I'm happy Victon is growing :)

I think the concept is Alice through the looking glass in Victon style.. a chess set, butterflies, blue rose (Subin's scene), spade king (Seungsik's scene). I really appreciate their vocal in this song though! Agree with you about the confidence they expressed through dancing. Feeling like they're saying 'I'm so cool, I'm the best, trust me, follow me, I'll take you to the new world.' I guess that's why the box was opened and Seungwoo is set free at the end.

The tea party scene, chesspieces and Spade set that Seungsik was in, it's a play on Alice in Wonderland! after all, the album was made for Alices. The album has 2 fan songs All Day and We Stay, solo tracks from Sejun, Seungsik, Chan and Hanse! Do give the album a listen if you have access to it. We absolutely love it! Unbelievable was the last comeback we got to see a cute victon. the only crumbs we got is similar title song which is Unpredictable, b-side track in their new album, but that's a sexy song 🙃
