Personally, I love that I like Mayday's MV more than Howling, but I prefer the latter song That balance keeps one from feeling disappointed or comparing CB with each other, if you bring something different to the table you can really keep up the momentum between various comebacks, therefore for a long period of time and make the group more well-known

I'm so glad you loved the comeback, cause it's clearly incredible. about that rap you liked It's actually pretty typical style for Seungwoo. He is known for his skills in all areas (singing, dancing, rapping, composing), in Victon's songs he tends to both rap and sing most of the time. This amount of skill in both areas allows him to create that seemless blend between rapping and singing, which is absolutely addicting. What a talented man lol

I'm so glad to see your reaction! I knew you'd be surprised by the quality of this MV. Mayday is definitely not my favorite Victon title track but you're right, this MV is their best MV by far (not my favorite tho because my fave is Unbelievable, for the simple reason that it makes me the happiest). What is amazing is how little time they had to prepare and the fact that this high production video is for a single that was not really promoted that much! I always look forward to PDs victon reactions the most as he's someone who's followed victons music from their early days. When the mv came out I think none of us expected the production quality to be this good. One of the mayday producers actually said that the mv was high quality compared to their budget lol but the director really went out of his way for victon 😊 hands down mayday is victons best mv yet. Music-wise its actually missing the victonprint (not in a bad way don't get me wrong). Its definitely a new side/sound for them and I'm here for it. 😊 Although if I squinted I guess the victonprint is still there in that they went hard but its not an "in your face" hard heavy kind of song. It's hard to explain but yeah 😅

I understand and agree it is missing the Victonprint. It’s the tone and level of their vocals. Specifically, Sejun usually sings higher so he has a signature vocal tone but he sings lower here so you don’t get his usual high strained voice, and so do most of the group.

Honestly, one of the best uses of slow mo I've seen in a music video. The use of it in the chorus to make it feel like a tension of the rhythm is so genius, you can feel the disturbed pace of the chorus when they do that and its amazing!

This, this right here is Victon's 'piece de la resistance': it's a masterpiece and I've had it on loop ever since it came out (not to mention watching EVERY live performance dropped since).
