Do you have the ability to isolate different tracks ex. the rhythm guitar? It would be a tremendous aid in learning these songs as Lee's guitar style is so complex and hard to discern from most songs

Not really. There's AI tools that try but they can't isolate instruments too well. I work more by channels and frequency. Bass is possibly easiest, and most underrated. You can get lucky. The guitars on this track were one amazing yet squashed together mulch. Great but I have to rely on other tricks to bring the acoustics out (mainly very extreme stereo seperation the Golden rule is more REMOVE rather than ADD) With La's stuff it's usually the case of burning off the fat the producers like This is drums slapping to Lee while keeping enough of a hint of the original band music It was worthwhile. I have the ability ... but I've been asked Universal for the Hedges multitracks and got nothing back. I'll pursue technology allowing me to do this but it ain't like that's my first choice! I do mix bands myself of course and it'll be lovely when that comes out. I have the ability to mix an entire album, yes. But the AI method here is 1) you have to accept AI, I only take an interest as I think it's inevitable and I'd rather purely take a stab at La's music than some faceless entity as I can still control it. and 2) new and not all that THERE'S STILL NO REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR OWN EARS
