Please do! We have to ALL be calling attention to the fact that we're on the brink of losing our right to safe & private family planning & access to abortions in much of our country. Time is quickly running out for us to protect our right to choose, & if we don't stand up now, call out who's taking our rights away (the Republicans) we're going to be in a nightmare situation soon enough.

Pulling a child out of school at age 9 to take care of a sibling should be illegal. Also I wanted to add one of the best tactics I’ve ever seen was in my city (Pittsburgh) there is a Planned Parenthood right downtown that anti choice protesters are outside of everyday. Planned Parenthood started a fundraiser in which people could pledge money based on the number of protesters outside. So the more people protesting Planned Parenthood, the more money Planned Parenthood raised. I thought it was genius.

Idk the laws or how they vary by state but you gotta be proving you're homeschooling your child some type of official way if they aren't in a school, right? If someone doesn't alert CPS I'm not sure how it'd be enforced, but it really feels like it needs to be... Love what your local PP did to combat their protesters though lol

They were thinking of taking her out three days a week and sending her to school the rest of the school days, mostly because neither Cole or Sav are illegible to be teachers since they have no education beyond high school and don't really seem to care whether or not their kids receive an education since Everleigh's missed so many days of school already for content. They have enough money for a nanny so Everleigh doesn't need to step in, it is common in most families, but if the parents are naturally lazy and narcissistic, it's sickening.

As someone who is German too, it is beyond me that people compare the worst genocide comitted in world history to literally ANYTHING, it is insanely disgusting and disrespectful to the victims of the Holocaust and the nazi Regime in general, and it comes at a time where more and more survivors sadly pass and extremist and nationalist worldviews rise again around the world, aka a time where it's more than important to remember all the irreversible atrocities Germany committed. Comparing the Holocaust to anything is, in my opinion, a denial of the severity of that crime against humanity and adds to a culture of minimizing the suffering of the victims and affected minorities not only from 1933 to 1945, but to this day.

um. i'm also german, and this is not exactly true. jewish communities have been saying for decades that the work the german state and germany as a whole have done has been superficial at best. we certainly did something. but to say we have gone above and beyond to reflect and learn is an optimistic overstatement, especially seeing the rise of white supremacy in or country in the recent years, AfD, Querdenker, and not to mention neonazi stickers appearing in school bathrooms. that last one is just something i've been able to observe, but seeing teenagers being able to be radicalized means we have not gone the strides we'd like to think we have.

I really hope I'm reaching and proven wrong but I don't think they want Everleigh going to school for a variety of reasons. Number one is that she'll make friends that she'll want to spend time with like normal kids (less time for filming) and if she starts comparing her life with her friends' she'll start noticing something's wrong. Number two is that as she's approaching teenage years she may start getting a bit more "rebellious" so they want her close to monitor and brainwash her. And number three, I don't think they believe education for girls is all that important, if you're catching my drift..

I am so very sorry for what happened here. But your argument that because abortion is a medical term, we shouldn’t have political conversations about it is a naive argument. We discuss and grapple with plenty of medical and scientific issues in the political realm. It is perfectly appropriate to use medical terminology as a part of politics. The reality is that medicine and the larger realm of science is appropriate fodder for political debate and disagreements because while people may have similar information, they interpret that information differently and have diverging perspectives.

Yeah I lost my sh** when he said there wasn't a medical reason for getting an abortion. My own mother is a beautiful example of why that is false. When she was 18 years old, she got pregnant with her then boyfriend. Upon telling him that she was pregnant, his response was to punch her in the stomach in an attempt to terminate her pregnancy. Mind you, she wanted the baby, but he did not. So she had to be rushed to a clinic to check on the status of her pregnancy following the incident, and it turns out that unfortunately the fetus did not survive. They then had to abort the fetus to, you know, avoid infection. Removing a dead fetus is still an abortion. And yes there are people who have miscarried and passed the fetus without an abortion, but again, they did so to avoid infection and other complications. You're absolutely right, that so called doctor needs to be stripped of his title.

The sad and unfortunate truth is that for right-wing anti-choicers, women simply aren't people whose lives -- both in terms of quality of life and life goals and literal mortal lives -- matter in any real way. The individual lives of their wives/mothers/sisters/daughters matter somewhat -- they are and always will be The One Exception -- but the rest of us are nothing to them. And in fact, a lot of them get off on hearing about women suffering because of the anti-choice policies they forced on society. It's their kink.

Although my direct family was not impacted, they could have been (luckily they were Jewish and still got through it) and if you think about it the amount of people affected by the Holocaust is not just the people that died, but also the lives that never happened. That is murder. Abortion is necessary but how an earth was the Holocaust necessary? Many people could have been living today if their family wasn’t killed in the Holocaust. The fact that lives are not happening today that could’ve happened is because of the Holocaust and here the LaBrants are just casually comparing it to abortion- which isn’t even killing if it is before the heartbeat emerges (and it usually is).

I felt so alone like I had no one and for a place who claims to be nothing but supportive… I look back and am absolutely DISGUSTED that people could do this. Like that’s their job! To trick women into thinking they are being helped at one of the most scary and vulnerable times in their lives when in reality they are just constantly trying to convince you to keep a child that you know deep inside you cannot take care of because you can’t even take care of yourself. I had two abortions. Not because I couldnt take care of a child, I just didn't want to. It was not a difficult decision, the whole process was pretty easy and I didn't feel bad during or after. Sharing my experience because all I see is what a difficult decision it is etc. I have the right to my life and my body just as much as anyone else. My will is as good enough reason as anything else. @Desiree Welch not every pregnancy is prevented though, even birth control is only 99% effective. There is always a small risk of unwanted pregnancy even if you are using protection and being safe, some cases of men who had vasectomies still got their wife pregnant even though it isn’t technically supposed to happen but there is always a risk. Abortions aren’t solely decided because “you aren’t preventing pregnancy in the first place”, it is usually a last resort.

I really can’t understand why it’s so hard for people like the LaBrant family to let other people do what’s best for them. I have a son whom I literally love with all my heart and wouldn’t trade for anything! I made that decision to become a mother, and yet I’m still pro choice. Having a child is not easy, so I would never shame a woman who isn’t ready or even willing to take on that responsibility. It’s like they’d rather knowingly have these kids grow up in a horrible situation all because they forced a woman to have a baby she didn’t want in the first place. Pregnancy is actually really hard and scary though people only ever paint it as “beautiful” and “amazing”. Not to mention if you’re high risk and a POC like I myself because that opens a whole other can of worms. No one wants to have that conversation though. It genuinely seems like people really only care until the baby is born and then they complain about how their tax money is going to feeding those children. Make it make sense. The logic isn’t logicing. 😂

Thank you for having the courage to speak openly about being pro-choice! I am adoptee. In 1969 and 1970 when the lady who had me was pregnant abortion was not an option, even though she was only 13 at the time! I pray that if given the choice she would have chosen what was best for HER life and I know that her choice may have been to abort me and I would not be alive but I also have raised children and currently have a granddaughter who will be 13 in a few months and I fully cannot comprehend what a pregnancy and delivering a baby would do to her emotionally! I actually made the choice to terminate a pregnancy 30 years ago and for reasons that are solely my own I do not regret that decision. My sons are now 33 and 28 and I love them dearly but I also know that having that child 30 years ago would have put my life and my oldest sons life in grave danger as I could not afford to feed my existing child without a lot of help.

I was so young and scared and basically completely unequipped to deal with what a pregnancy would mean for my life. I just needed plan b and instead I was prayed over and given a pregnancy test and told I was fine, I could have ended up having my life go in a completely different way if I didn’t have a friend help buy me the pill (back when it was only sold with a script under 18). I am so incredibly upset at places like this that choose to push their agenda on you instead of giving you all the information. I am a woman of faith but no child should be expected to raise a child themselves if they aren’t ready for it just because of that. I am now a huge proponent of pro-choice laws and believe everyone should have access to the services and information that they need.

She is to this day still happy with her decision, and when she saw Cole and savannah’s documentary, she was really upset, as was I, it made us lose respect towards their channel. During the birth of the 6th the wife actually bled out so badly she died but they were able to revive her. Her Drs told her she needed to be sterilized and never get pregnant again because the risk was way to high and she would most likely die if she did. Due to their religious beliefs they didn’t believe in contraception and she became pregnant again. Her Dr gave her the choice of termination and she declined. She had the last baby and died leaving all those other kids without a mother. There are medical reasons and you can’t convince me otherwise. I am a Christian. I also believe in choice. You have to be all of the following before a doctor can consider doing something like having your tubes tied: 1) Over the age of 25, 2) Be married for at least 10 years and 3) youngest child has to be at least 6 months old or older. The ONLY time you can get around this is for Medical Necessity. I was fortunate that I was able to get my tubes tied at an early age due to Medical Necessity (only have 1 kidney) but I have a friend that had to wait until she was 26 before she could get her tubes tied because of AZ's law about sterilization. She never wanted kids and knew that she was never going to want to have kids but because she did not have any already and had no intentions on marrying her doctor was bound by state law to make her wait until after the age of 25 to get her tubes tied. Things here are not that good here for elective sterilization, trust in that.

@@lanilynn1227 I totally understand. AZ is a very conservative state so that is reflected in the medical profession as well. It won't save any lives making abortion illegal, it will only put more people in danger and likely hinder women from having the time and space to take their decision in peace and clarity. Of course, I still wish no babies were ever aborted, but God gave us freedom in this life so we could make our choices. There are many things I don't agree with but I don't expect human societies to make them illegal, and I understand that moral stand points are theoretical and can be extremely hard to live by. Some things deserve an intense rant, and it was really beneficial to hear someone mention how fucked up all of this is. I live in Florida, so between the abortion bans and anti-LGBTQ bills recently, I've dealt with more stress than I'd like to right now. What was so terrifying about Texas aside from the intention was how those needed to consider their options for current pregnancies suddenly had them ripped away. Clinics suddenly have to tell people that they can no longer provide the service, then hey, a judge has lifted it until it can be further reviewed, then nope, we suddenly have to cancel appointments because that also got overturned. And then you have those fucking "clinics" who deliberately lie about how far along a pregnancy is so that even if the person finds a place that can actually give them all options, they were tricked into missing the legal window. I would love to see more regulation fighting against deliberately misleading those looking for help. Clear disclosures about what they are would be a great step, but I also think it's disgusting pushing for someone to keep a pregnancy under assurances of all of the support they will receive, only for them to realize too late that it wasn't fully (if at all) true.

I know people who have had late-term abórtiöns and every single one of those was a very much wanted baby. Rare would be the person who gets to 20 weeks in pregnancy and goes, “Nah. I’m out.” So these parents, who are going through something that no parent should ever go through, are judged for the worst thing to ever happen to them. Something they desperately wish they didn’t have to do. It’s heartbreaking. A very close friend of mine found out at 19 weeks that her baby had Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome). She made the choice to continue the pregnancy and her son died in utero at 30 weeks. That was HER choice. Do you know how absolutely devastating it is to carry your child for 11 weeks just waiting for him to die? She had to have so many medical appointments, she had to have so many therapy appointments. She is LUCKY she lives in Australia where we have a medical system that meant she had no medical bills from this. No person should be forced to live through that. They should have the option to end the pregnancy and begin the grieving process without living in limbo before they can. In my due in group with my second son, a woman’s baby was diagnosed with the same thing. She chose to terminate, and I fully believe she was just as brave as my friend who continued the pregnancy. She was absolutely and utterly devastated doing it. Did you know that terminating that late means that they simply induce labor? You have to go through an actual delivery knowing the baby you love so much is going to die. The woman in my DIG was hoping and praying her baby would take a single breath because in South Australia at the time, she wouldn’t get a birth certificate if he didn’t. Unfortunately, he was stillborn. That meant she couldn’t access maternity leave from her work. She couldn’t get the stillborn payment from the government to help with funeral expenses. She had no record of her baby’s life and death, even though everywhere else in Australia, a birth and death certificate are always issued after 20 weeks. This is the reality behind people who get late-term abórtiöns. It is absolutely heart wrenching and people who campaign against it REEK of the privilege of never having been in that position. It’s disgusting. That’s without even going into the fact that, like you, I believe it doesn’t make a damn the reason why a woman chooses to end a pregnancy. Her body, her choice. But I like to highlight the reality behind late-term pregnancy termination for those who don’t know.

Having been pregnant and having a baby, has really affirmed my stance on been pro-choice. Mine was planned and very wanted beforehand but still, it was all so hard; even though it was a pretty healthy and stable pregnancy the whole time. For the most part, I hated being pregnant, it can be so miserable and difficult at times and birth was very scary for me (but it was worth it TO ME, because I wanted my son). I absolutely wouldn't want anyone to go through it unless it were their own choice. Not to mention, pregnancy and birth can be so dangerous. My sister-in-law has been having literal heart issues throughout her pregnancy and has been in and out of the hospital. She was even at the hospital when my son was born, because she was having issues with her pregnancy. I couldn't imagine forcing someone to go through something like that, if they didn't want to be pregnant or to have a baby. My sister-in-law loves her baby and is really excited for her but that is what makes it worth it for her. If someone doesn't want the baby, there doesn't seem to be a light at the end for those people; they don't get anything positive out of it and that can be so hard on them. Even if someone were to decide on giving them up for adoption, pregnancy and birth can be so traumatic. It's not just simply developing the baby and popping it out. It can leave them with trauma, a change in their body that may be hard to grasp, and possibly postpartum depression. It changes so much, even if you aren't the one who ends up raising the baby. Not a single person should be forced into any part of it. I hope that you and your son are doing well, regardless of how long it has been since birth 💚💚 I especially hope that your mental health is alright, because you matter too.

The "interesting" part about the pro-choice/anti-abortion stance is such crap. If you're from a prominent family and get pregnant at 15, your family will make sure you have access to terminate your pregnancy (read: protect the family's honor and legacy of upholding "family values"). But if you're from a low income family that is making the heartbreaking choice to bring another child into generational trauma and poverty, you're not allowed to make that choice (I have theories as to why but that's a different post). Also, I think if you've had so many kids you have to tell Chikd A to get up Child B and get them ready for school, you've had too many kids. And that's a YOU problem. Not the child's problem.

I think my opinion on this subject is going to change and I'm going to be doing more research before I stand with or against anything! So please don't ever apologize for opening people's eyes to the whole hard truth of the entire topic or choosing to remove your filter so you can be more passionate. I suffered with pre eclampsia during my pregnancy and it developed into straight up eclampsia and I had a seizure in my sleep at 34 weeks and had to have an emergency c-section. My daughter and I almost died that night. It was incredibly traumatizing and I WILL NEVER willingly go through that again. It is way to dangerous and since I’m “too young” to get my tubes tied if I ever get pregnant again I will 100% get an abortion. And the fact that there are people that don’t think that that’s reason enough blows my mind.

Hey! There’s a subreddit called childfree that has a running list of doctors in different states that are willing to sterilize women without all the shaming and hoops to jump through. I had a consultation early April and surgery is scheduled May 2nd!

so I've never really spoken about this but I feel like it's important. I had an abortion myself about five years ago. I chose to do this because at the time I was very young (21 or 22 I can't remember tbh) and knew I was not ready for kids (or even if I wanted any children at all). I was also not intending to stay in a relationship with the father and I didn't have a very stable financial situation at the time either. I made that choice for ME. I made that choice because it was best for ME. I didn't feel compelled to do it by some "crazy liberal propaganda" or because I was influenced by satan or some shit. I did it because I knew I would not be able to give that child the life it deserved. every human brought into this world deserves unconditional love and support and I was not capable of that at the time. I felt that it was better to not force a person into this world only to be neglected or resented. I was lucky enough that I am not religious and didn't feel guilt because of it, as well as I had the resources (time/money) to find a planned parenthood in my area and get their help without interference. it was not a difficult choice, for me. but I can't even imagine how hard it would have been had I lived in a state where I might've instead found a "clinic" that tried to pressure me into having a child against my will. I believe everyone is allowed their opinion on abortion, but someone's opinion should not be legally enforceable. particularly when those making the laws are not people who can get pregnant to begin with.

If you're up for it (you will be attacked by her fans, 110% guarantee) I would love to see you do a video on Maia Knight. I think it's a really interesting scenario where she is essentially getting a free pass to be a child exploiter because she's pretty and funny, and her babies are adorable. She posts multiple tik toks PER DAY based around her twins babies, showing intimate moments like waking up, bath time, and meltdowns. She's also made and sold merch with her children's names on them - reminder these kids just turned ONE. One quick look through her followers list shows you that a large portion of her audience is grown men, and more recently she's been made aware that her children's photos are ALLEGEDLY on cp sites - and she still continues to post them. Additionally, the parasocial relationships people have with those babies are literally insane. Look in any of her comment sections and you'll see things along the lines of "post a new video, its been too long since I've seen the babies", "I'm their dad now", etc etc. It's just so odd to me she's doing just about everything that the ~problematic~ family vloggers are doing, yet no one bats an eye.

What’s crazy about the whole pro choice vs pro life argument is that 95% of people getting abortions don’t just get up one day and make that choice happily. I’ve never met a woman that’s ever not thought about that abortion and has never had some sort of guilt about having one. It is absolutely heartbreaking to have to make that choice for yourself. But of course prolifers don’t see that. It’s so sad. Edit: I guess some people are misunderstanding what I’m trying to say here so I’ll clarify. I’m not implying that everyone feels guilty about an abortion, nor that there’s any regrets. what I’m saying is that I’ve never met anyone that has derived some sick pleasure from having an abortion as some prolifers tend to imply. They did it knowing it was the best option for them at the time.

I don't feel guilt about having an abortion. I knew I wanted it and it was only about 6 weeks along. Doesn't mean I didn't realize the weight of the decision, or that I don't wonder where I'd be in life (I'd probably be miserable with the guy who got me pregnant and would never have met my soulmate) if I'd continued the pregnancy, but I knew it was the best option for me and am so glad I was able to make that decision.

@@k3upikachu my point is that pro lifers always make women that get abortions out to be “baby killers” or that somehow get pleasure from having an abortion when that simply isn’t the case. I’m not saying that you have to feel guilty about an abortion.

The thing about home schooling their daughter so she can help with the younger kids sounds like the "buddy system" that a LOT of tlc Christian families implement where the oldest kid is forced into a parental role, which in the case of rich youtubers is even more disgusting. Like there's a difference btw a poor family where parents have to work 24/7 in order to make ends meet and their older kid taking care of the younger one whereas they have the money to just hire a nanny instead of making her a nanny at home

Thank you much for speaking out about this topic. I had an abortion when I was 15 and it was the most difficult decision I've ever made...but also I was legally aloud to do it, even in NH without my parents consent. I now have a healthy and happy child and can't imagine what my life would have looked like if I hadn't done it. I am traumatized and terrified for woman and myself living in the US right now for these laws that effect OUR bodies alone made by old white men who never have to get pregnant either by rape, incest, or otherwise. When I was 16, I had a pregnancy scare. I was raised in an “abstinence only” church/home and I was scared. I went to my mom, who took me to one of these clinics, not knowing what it really was. I was given an over the counter pregnancy test, and while I waited for the results, I was shown FOUR HOURS of propaganda. It traumatized me. By the end of it, my pregnancy test was negative, and they justified keeping me there and making me watch all of that as a way to scare me away from having sex. It didn’t work- I kept having sex, still with very little sex education. Luckily I never had a pregnancy scare again (I found out at 20 I was infertile, I’m almost 31 now and still happily child-free). I still get nightmares about what they showed me, even though I’m an educated & very pro-choice atheist adult now. Thank you for covering this video because I can’t bring myself to watch theirs, even though my curiosity is strong, I know it will just bring up trauma for me.

You said it exactly! Our kids need more education. Not more "fear" that they're going to ignore! We live in a world where most people think "That won't happen to me"... So propaganda and the like doesn't work with that mentality. But educating kids (and adults) will help them make better choices when it comes to having sex or not, using protection, ect....

My mom did homeschool to make me help with my siblings. I cannot even begin to summarize the issues I have, that I am struggling to work through with a therapist. Making a child a parent never works, and it leads to trauma to all the children involved. I am open about this, and am totally willing to discuss if people have questions. Do not sacrifice a child's education and social outlets to get support.

I cant even tell you how much I appreciate how passionate you are about supporting my rights as a woman. Too many shy away from what is happening to our neighbors, how it's oppressing and isolating women in Texas, and soon Oklahoma, and more and more states join in. Countries all around the world do the same thing. Even in Canada where I live it is totally legal and covered by health care, it was hard to find an appointment to get an abortion because the doctor I saw at first directed me to a "crisis pregnancy" center which is the same as one of those ones you mentioned. Its a fucking nightmare.
