@@4evertrue830 Obvious reasons why people romance with F9 after exams. The footage still remain one of the bests I've seen of Lagos. I wasn't talking about flood vidoes which is naturally problematic in major cities around the globe including one of the most planned cities "Dubai" just of recent if you are prone to being abreast with your int'l news.

@@gr8son494 I can tell when people lose focus on the norms and ethics they were raised by at a younger age, one of which is to be sincere and truthful at all times. Obviously people like you have lost that for the sake of money to promote false narratives about lagos to those who haven't visited or lived there. Thankfully i haven't and it guides me in my everyday life and work. Go ahead and deceive the international community using this drone footage of lagos, that's your problem. My foreign friends who have been to lagos to visit me have said otherwise. By the way, a great man once said: "You can fool all the people some of the time and fool some people all of the time, but you can't fool ALL the people ALL OF THE TIME" - Abraham Lincoln. Think about that..🙂

@@4evertrue830 Hell No.... It is ironic that Ikoyi, Lagos looks better on the ground than it is on drone. Don't be Gullible, my friend.

@@SegunMichael-t5q What part of ikoyi are you referring to, south-west ikoyi or, old ikoyi Bourdilon road, park view, kingsway, etc? This areas have become an eye sore, especially south-west ikoyi, from Falomo round about down to St Gregory's road. It only looks nice and attractive from the air using a drone. Bourdilon road in old ikoyi is losing its glamour and with time it may become an eye sore too.

@@4evertrue830 Labelling those aforementioned places as an eyesore shows that you are just being bent on negativity. Bourdillon, Gerard, Alexander, Glover, Kingsway are one of the most exquisite places in lagos at large, with new buildings topping out. But if you still adamant that they are soaring to your eye, then I really don't know what you perceives as a beautiful place.

Correction: Eko was founded and originally inhabited by the Benin Kingdom. The Aworis were never in Eko. They were outside the modern day mainland. Please get your story right. The Benin Kingdom founded and named it Eko. Go ask the Oba of Lagos whose Benin ancestry bloodline and lineage continued till this day. Also go ask the custodians of Lagos like the Erelu Kuti of Lagos. Did you know that the Aworis speak a mixture of Edo and Awori? Do not cheat history. Do not twist history to conform to your bias narrative.
@AdekunleEnoch-n1g5 ай бұрын
Lmao, let me school you, the Aworis inhabitated eko with the ijebus, it was first known as oko, that was where the Yorubas had contact with the Portuguese just like how our kinsmen in warri had that contact with the Portuguese, eventually Benin fought against it and turned it into a war camp and renamed it eko, the Aworis too back the territory years later and decided to continue with the name eko, before the British came and stepped down the King to abolish slave trade cos the king was a slave merchant and Lagos was a slave point, the British installed another king and signed a treaty with the king, that was the beginning of Lagos colony, stop distorting history, you binis are known for that
