Pay phones usually have their own number printed on them. Next time you see a pay phone, look for its number and try calling it with your cellphone. That should tell you if it works or not.

I was out filming in Lakeland yesterday too! Bummer that the Antique Mall is moving to a smaller spot. Their biggest draw “Recycling the Magic” which has that display with the water tower you showed is moving to Mt. Dora and that’s sad to hear too. I think I subscribed to you back when you made that Edward Scissorhands filming location video years ago. Glad you had a good time in Lakeland!

Those two Rest stops at that location, eastbound and westbound, are the only rest stops left on I-4. I think there’s one still near or around Altamonte Springs, but it’s for trucks only. By the way, the rest stop you’re at has a working payphone. I commented on the payphone before seeing that you saw it

I love retro blow molds! I have my late Grandna’s Snowman and Santa Blowmolds from the 1960’s. I was always nervous about plugging them in though because of the 1960’s wiring they had 😂 but I realized a few years ago that I could buy new light/wiring kits for them-so now the live on 👍 🧑‍🎄 ⛄️

Love the blow mold. If it doesn’t light, you can try changing the bulb in it or replacing the bulb cord. They basically use a light similar to what you find in Christmas villages or lighted pumpkins at Halloween. C7 bulb on a cord. ☺️🎄🎅🏻

I work at Lowe’s in NJ and we were pretty much cleaned out of all Christmas stuff when I left Friday. We bought a new one for next year a few weeks ago because I knew we wouldn’t get one if we waited. We definitely didn’t get quantities of merch like previous years this year.

I have one of those Florida rest stops near me that is too close to my house to go to, plus they don't sell any food or anything else. I recently stopped there for the first time ever when my stepfather decided he should probably use the facilities because the next stop is over 50 miles away. So I finally got to visit and it's a nice little area, where you can picnic

Okay, Adam: did you go to the drone thing at Lake Eola last night? If so, you got some easy content, when the drones started falling out of the sky! That was pretty scary, until it turned out that it was a planned drone display, and they just messed up. If it's too late for the Celebration Presbyterian Christmas thing, you could just run last year's, or promote it again. I saw it last year.; it was really beautiful.

Speaking of globes I been wanting 3 different kinds one vintage one on a beautiful ornate walnut or oak stand that sets on the floor and two modern ones one glass one that lights up lights up inside and looks like a really cool space age illuminated marble and one that's dark colors like it's night and you'll see city lights in all the country's but also still make out which is ocean sea or land without the lights on.

No one wanted my Grandma's globe. Probably would have cost at least $40 to ship to you. I put it on a free pile and some one took it. it was from 70's or 80s so not old.
