Strong move by Pelinka. AD is the star of the team in his prime. Point is this is JJ’s team on a lot of levels and that could make a great difference in the long run.

@luisnash4 күн бұрын
They didn't necessarily made this move because they trust Reaves to be a floor general in a playoff situation, they did it because they know Dlo can't be trusted to do it in a playoff situation and they traded him for a versatile defender that can hit the open shot with consistency. Dlo in playoffs was always detrimental to his team doesn't matter if he was 1st, 2nd, 3rd or no option, so replacing him with a contributor was a nobrainer.

The Lakers' trade for Milton and Finney-Smith raises concerns, as it contradicts previous criticism of Coach Ham's lineup changes and sends away playmaker D'Angelo Russell, potentially disrupting the team's offense with Austin Reaves' scoring-focused role. The problem with this switching defenses is that it turned into 5 on 4 offensive fast breaks for our opponent since LeBron doesn't block out or hustles back on defense. Austin, Christie, LeBron, Dodo, and AD will work out better defensively and would place Rui to lead the second unit offensively that has shown, in the past, that can tear up things coming off the bench and remove some of the pressure placed upon Dalton to score.

I learned it from the greatest coach ever, Phil Jackson. It's his #1 request to the franchise he coaches. They don't need a superstar. That's why your paying LeBron and AD. What you are missing is the fillers. The help. Jordan is the best example I can use. Most of his +40, +50, and +60 games were when he was losing. Pre-Scottie Pippen. It takes a team. As good as Jordan was he has some of the best 3 point shooters surrounding him in the league during that time. You need a team also.
