This has to be one of the most memorable songs in movie history to make a person teary eyed. It’s a great movie for any generation

I literally grew up in a valley, running around on the tree-covered hillsides, swimming in the lakes during the summer. (Building forts, going on crazy adventures) I also grew up watching many of the Land Before Time movies. Among my favorites was Time of the Great Giving. In that movie the Great Valley catches fire, forcing everyone to leave. As a child, around the same time I first watched that movie, my actual valley burned and we were nearly forced to leave. I feel like the movies, specifically the soundtracks are a match to my childhood in so many ways. I moved away from the valley for 6 years, living in a sort of "mysterious beyond" in which the weather was unforgiving, people were occasionally difficult to deal with and life was an anxious challenge. Now I have moved back to the valley where I grew up. To this day I have the soundtracks of Land Before Time playing through my mind while I observe the beautiful mountains around my home. I live in a very real Great Valley and I intend to keep it that way!

Thank you for uploading this. This is one of the most beautiful and under-rated scores ever composed.

When I hear this soundtrack..I think of Judith Barsi and just that she had a sad childhood. Ducky will forever live in all of our hearts.

0:57 I remember when I was little loving this piece of music and rewinding that bit of the film over and over just to listen to it. And now I've found it again. The memories this brings back!

If I remember correctly: "I tried to do what you told me, but it's just too hard. [sniff]... Mother...don't go mother, don't go!...Littlefoot you found it!...We did it; we did it together!" Haven't forgotten after all these years; the words, and the way I felt.

This movie was perfect, next to The Secret of Nimh it in my opinion is Don Bluth's second greatest work, and kudos to Director Steven Spielberg, and Composer James Horner, the story is both sad and amazing, the music complements the animation and goes hand in hand with the film, Just an amazing piece of work that not only speaks to nostalgia on my part but to a time when animated movies could be as inspirational and beautiful as any live action piece- they still can but not the same, not like stories like this.

I'll make Twilight Sparkle's Adventures Of The Land Before Time and I'll make the scene where Twilight, Spike, Cadance and Shining Armor and Flurry Heart and their friends found The Great Valley and I'll make Twilight and Spike and Cadance and Shining Armor and Flurry Heart and their friends happily watch Littlefoot and his friends Reunited with their families and I'll make Otto Osworth said: "we did it gals and guys, Littlefoot and his friends are Reunited with their families in The Great Valley itself." and Larry 3000 said: "and we got rid of The Sharptooth." and Buck Tuddrussell said: "Ha! I knew we'll never see his face again."
