Technically true. On many levels, Lilith is biologically female - depending on how long ago she transitioned medically, her skeleton is probably starting to resemble a cis woman's (the pelvis is metabolically active throughout your life & can remodel extensively even into adulthood, and is the only bone that can, on its own, conclusively identify a skeleton as male/female. The skull has some features that differentiate a male skeleton from a female skeleton, but the features used to differentiate are relative and are frequently ambiguous.) - at the very least, if she dies of old age her skeleton will probably be androgynous. Her blood hormone levels are probably hard to distinguish definitively from a cisgender woman's, and same for a few other biological markers. However, most of the conditions the "Biological sex is complicated" crowd talks about are, well, disorders.
@Apostate_ofmind
@Apostate_ofmind Жыл бұрын
@@Harrier42861 no. Transition doesnt actually make you morphologically female. Even if you castrate chikdren, the genes are still too strong. And no, archeologists still can tell with ease. The remodelation you speak of applies to all bones, but doesnt change proportions. The only real change is the onset of osteoporosis 😑 Source, i literally majored in biology. Aftee puberty you can change even less, but to reiterate: even if you castrate a child, the proportions still remain because the phenocritical window is in utero.

3rd person pronouns are the device of the observer to express their interpretation of what they are observing. 12:15 I'd give another take on that; The dude realized fast she was uncomfortable and probably figured she'd never experienced this before from how she was acting, so he tried to put her at ease. When that didn't work and she gave an excuse, gave up. The girl has very clearly never had a stranger just chat them up out of nowhere before, and it's probably traumatic for them. Why? Because they're probably terminally online, and hear endless stories of evil men who'll abuse you, and was terrified that was what was happening. The trauma isn't because of some real thing that happened to them, or their lack of experience dealing with people, but because their frame of reference is so fucking damaged and broken that they can't handle the situation properly.

In her defense, it might also be that she may have been concentrating on her work so hard that it took her a while to re-adjust her thinking - this is something I have to deal with myself on occasion. If I'm really concentrating, it can be kind of like waking up first thing in the morning - it takes a bit before I'm operational. I also think that it's new to her. I spent this entire video thinking about my 55 year old mother. She doesn't use the internet much beyond buying things from Trademe and the local version of eBay, so she's not exposed to social justice bullshit that I'm aware. But ostensibly on her own, she's finally figured out that if she calls everything abuse, she doesn't have to be responsible for her life. When myself and her friend tell her no one can give her discipline but herself, that's "violent speech". When I say to her she needs to stop putting herself thousands of dollars in debt through buying things online, I'm "gaslighting". She hasn't held down a real job in 20 of the 30 years I've been alive because she's been running a crusade against our government about how being expected to be an adult is "abusive". And when I say I wish I had had an emotionally available parent during my teenage years, I'm "oppressing" her for her choice to go be a hooker during that time. She's even convinced herself that in her twilight years, she'll just turn up at the house of myself or my brother and be completely taken care of by the children she pretty much didn't raise.

Someone tried to tell my mother a month ago over the phone that an event had happened, which had definitely not. I had to explain to my 52 year old mother what "gaslighting" even is. She's too pure to have imagined the actual kinds of emotional abuse people engineer for each other. It was painful yet healing to tell her how I grateful I was to have learned from her mistakes: why victimhood mentalities are so destructive and why it’s incredibly foolish to avoid admitting being wrong. (Her negative traits actually prepared me for the world post 2020, to better grasp why people act so irrationally. Most are just deeply insecure & terrified of being exposed as “not good enough” so they’d rather lie than just admit “I don’t know the answer” or “Oops I got that wrong.”) It sounds cruel to lay that on her, I know, but I’m confident it did her soul a lot of good for her experience on ‘the other side’ (which her spirit confirmed; I’m a reluctant medium & psychopomp, lol). The more of our ‘darkness’ that we successfully process before death, the less negative karma we take with us into our next life, on Earth or elsewhere. Self awareness is more than half the battle.

@@ImortalZeus13 The word you're looking for is ‘courtesy’. Courtesy can be understood as polite behavior and mannerisms. Being courteous is when an individual displays politeness. In various social situations, people have to be courteous to others. For instance, a salesperson that is assisting clients is usually very courteous. His behavior, words and even mannerisms highlight respect for the client. However, one does not have to be truly respectful of another to be courteous. It is more of a façade that people wear when dealing with others. For example, you are courteous to a person you have just met, a waiter or cashier is courteous towards the diners or buyers. We can even be courteous towards people we dislike. This is because being courteous does not require admiration for the individual, it merely promotes polite social interactions.

If someone feels "traumatized" by innocuous things - if they are genuinely that neurotic - then they have a mental illness. Period. The defining element of mental disorder is when certain beliefs or experiences interfere with your ability to live a normal life. Caring about these people means wanting them to seek treatment, not enabling self-destructive behavior. It's ridiculous and insulting to suggest to someone who, for example, has seen the horrors of war first-hand that doing dishes or being hit on is "traumatic".
@AdamOwenBrowning

I was on an institution where an "inmate" refused to be called mentally ill because it's derisive, abusive language. ...It's a descriptor. These people are all mentally ill. A lot of people who appear "normal" in comparison to these jokers are also mentally ill. Nobody wants to take that moniker because it involves being given less power. They want all the power, NO responsibility. I can accept that I'm not stable and I have to adjust around other people. These people refuse to accept their instability and demand their entire social landscape acclimatizes to their incredibly unstable feelings. For a period, i was so grateful in my recovery to all the staff who had genuinely worked with me, that I sought a career in their area. That was quite a few years ago and I gave up half-way because of the political minefield it's become. I don't want to lose a career one day because some screecher felt offended.
@DrachonaTheWolf
@DrachonaTheWolf 2 жыл бұрын
@@AdamOwenBrowning The first step of recovery is admitting you have a problem, as they say. You are correct that plenty of people are mentally ill or, in other words, have some kind of mental dis-order. Every single person alive has insecurities; psychological problems that they could improve on. For some, those problems are more debilitating. And yes, they don't want to admit they have a problem because that means taking responsibility for your own self-improvement. It's not that you're mentally or physically weak. It's not that you're dangerously overweight, as another example. No, it's everyone else's fault. They convince themselves of this because they fear the alternative; because strengthening yourself isn't easy. It takes time, and there are no short-cuts. You can't blame your failures on anyone else. What they don't realize is that it's an exercise. Like lifting weights, it gets easier the more you do it, and you can push yourself further and further. You find that you're stronger in other areas as well. You have more energy. You sleep better. Your immune system is stronger, etc. It's pretty straightforward that taking care of something makes it last and letting it fall apart will cause a bunch of problems. I'm sure the realm of helping people is somewhat held hostage by people with this harmful mentality. With that said, it takes good people who understand and accept reality to counter that. My brother is a veteran who suffered from PTSD and was a heroin addict, but now he's a counselor for other vets. I guess I would just say: don't completely discount that field of work because of other people. There might be a time and place for you to step in and counter their nonsense with a mindset that's genuinely helpful to those in need.

I'll say this, having done some courses in psychology, advocating for trauma and trying to "minimize trauma" actually hurts real trauma survivors and hinder their recovery. By removing all forms confrontation out of their lives they cripple themselves by sabotaging their recovery. When she was a kid (12-14) her dad was an obsessive compulsive single dad who would flip out and lose his shit on her and actually do fucked up abuses like dumping old bowls of milk/cereal on her bed/throw all the dirty dishes there/verbally abuse her if she didn’t LOAD THE DISHES IN THE DISHWASHER IN THE CORRECT MANNER. Basically if all spoons were not loaded together face up, forks together face up, bowls together plates etc she would be psychologically abused for it. So like uh idk man. Most of this shit is probably stupid victimization bullshit but you never know where someone has been. That’s why it’s important to at least give people the benefit of the doubt. Oh yeah one time she said he took all the clocks off the wall as punishment for coming home late (??) In addition to taking her phone etc so she didn’t ever know what time it was because....then you can’t meet your friends? And if you wanna go to your part time job down the street at the Chinese place you have to walk in the snow ok top of telling time by the sun. @@tann_man Social transition (being recognize as the gender you identify with) is not only the only form of therapy that works but also it's 100% effective. Teens who received puberty blockers and went through pubery later in life according to their gender had the same exact statistics on suicide, deppresion, etc. as their cis peers. Then there are people like you who find it below their dignity to not ruin someone's day or, over long time of this threatment, someone's life because of some warped sense of morality. Being openly trans and not having to worry about "tricking" people would not be an issue if self-rigtheus assholes like you didn't walk this Earth. After transition I gave up on my two greatest passions, swimming and singing, because of how people would see me or threat me. I was very open and eager for conversation with a stranger and now I'm always anxious to open my mouth. Because being trans is such a big deal to some people I never feel comfortable to just say it and be accepted without questions. How are you 'not enabling mental illness' when you are literally taking away someone's only cure for their dissatisfaction in life? You are looking at a person who is cured of their mentall illness, who no longer experiences any of the negative symptoms of gender dysphoria and say "I'm sorry, but according to my belives, you need to suffer". What if you had an autistic friend, who asks you to turn off some of the lights and play the music a liitle less louder, because they are overloaded? Would you cave in to their delusional demands and enable their mental illness, or would you do the respectful thing and explain to them that lights aren't actually that bright and if you wanted you could turn ever more of them and that music is within the noise limit set by HOA?

I got asked out for the first time 11years ago, in a way similar to that "geeky girl". I was nervous, jittery and a bit "over the moon" that a man would ever be interested in me. It far from traumatic, but now any feelings that make these special individuals (who live on Twitter and Tumblr) a bit uncomfortable is equated with trauma.

Don’t give the wokeoids any ideas. It’s going to be awkward to say “chicken chest”.
