Like ill think about getting some work done, but also think about eight other things at the same time. With my meds I can yk, slow down and focus on one. It isn't really an excuse but I do feel like shit a lot of the time, I think im getting better though. Meds help a ton but obviously I cant just yk, take meds for every single thing that needs to get done, doubt that'd be good lmao.

Laziness is a virtue only when channeled into efficiency. I have a friend who didn't like the tedious parts of his job so he made some scripts that automated 90 percent of his work load. As a result he got promoted to a "new position" that requires him to do a task (usually the company's worst time sink jobs) until he figures out how to do as little as possible work while still accomplishing his task. His coworkers got reassigned to baby sit the systems he built or to more profitable ventures within the company.

Most Social Justice ideas can only thrive in darkness where they cannot be examined. Don't de-platform the people pushing those ideas, grab them and stick them in front of a microphone and a camera. If they make a good point, debate it with them. It's possible that they may be right about some things, and those things should get their due examination. They are most certainly wrong about a lot of other things and that should be exposed as well. That's the problem with ideologies in general, they are built on foundational ideas that cannot be examined without risking the entire structure. Sometimes those ideas are right, or were right when they were adopted, but often they are wrong. Don't fall into the same trap. Being correct is more important than winning every rhetorical battle.

Those communities were started by socialists/commies though. It actually became MORE moderate as the population of those subreddits grew. So this was actually the reverse. A bunch of extremists didn't gatekeep their community because they wanted the growth and wanted to indoctrinate mainstreamers. They let too many mainstream people in too quickly without indoctrinating them quickly enough. The mainstreamers got a whiff of how fringe the leaders of the subreddit are while still having some semblance of sanity, and were horrified. The actual lesson is this: Most reddit powermods are losers. Don't expect too much from them. I say this as someone who modded a mid sized subreddit of around 100k members. I was definitely more of a loser during that time.

Then this mod made an absolute fool of themselves and pretty much blew the subreddit up which is a good thing since I think optically, antiwork is such a bad name for those looking to improve working conditions and this is the action that changes things up.
