Ya know Scott, it is not as bad as one would think...at this point I use 30 mic's on this kit and I am putting 10 more on.....presence more than volume....depending on the venue. Once my sound is set (at that venue) ..It stays stays pretty close. You would love the challenge...lots of bells....hundreds of cymbals....and the sound spectrum is incredible....A blast to navigate...all the best...

All the sounds are different on my set up. All 70+cowbells are different....each having their own different ingredient.....their unique sound alone and then together.....the networking of many sounds going off together in groove and harmony. These are the colliding explosive, spontaneous synergies of SOUND! I have done sound effects for TV and used them as a LIVE show drummer with Art and Drama Troups when I was younger. I hear the sounds and use them often...remember my audience never sleeps....lol ....All the best...
