Thank you for taking the time to produce such a wonderful production. You have captured the history of rail, a nice mix of local residences and the 2022 Roundhouse anniversary brilliantly.

Hi Junee, Wow, thank you! I’m really chuffed to receive this feedback from you folks and the community, and it was my absolute pleasure to spend my long weekend there to celebrate this occasion. Until I return one day!

I was born in Junee and lived on a property 15 miles west. I was always awed by the huge coal bunker and I suggest building an outline of it in steel piping as Junee 's big thing.

Fabulous production - thank you. Not been to Junee since 1997 as I can't travel anymore. Great to see this.

Adam! Thank you for coming along and your kind feedback on this video. I am actually a fan of your channel and your work, and it's been great watching that evolve and the many trains you've travelled on and reviewed, including your latest New Zealand one!

Worked many a train into Junee from Melbourne. Stayed over at the Crossing motel and frequented the local businesses before heading back south again. Always a nice place to stay.

Hi Ian, thanks for the comment, and I hope the video brought back the joy you once had of regularly coming here!

@@Rheilffordd Very enjoyable. Good memories of being in the refresh grabbing food for the trip home and asking politely if they could hurry as my train was just pulling up outside the door.

Junee Roundhouse was on my bucket list for some time, finally got to visit it and was not disappointed. Unfortunately was very time poor on the day so I will return to see the other sites in the area.

Do they still use the wheel turning lathe in the workshop. I was going to get one operational in Victoria but they scrapped it.

G'day R! I'm unsure, by all means enquire with the JRW if they are or not.

Junee roaundhouse was designed to be big enough to accomodate either the d57 class , or then new and proposed ad 60 class garratts that came into service in the 1950s. There are rumours that they are planning to restore to full working order d5711.
@Rheilffordd Жыл бұрын
We would all love to see a 57 Class running again!

sorry to say, i was not impressed at all -the modelrailroad is really good, but the roundhouse with 6 or 7 items to lock at and all the rest not accessible.....yes, it's better than Goulburn -i don't know if it's lack of funding or......
@Rheilffordd9 ай бұрын
Hi Franz. Sorry you had this experience, although can you explain what you mean by not accessible? The roundhouse is a seperate building from the entrance/museum/model railway that you had to walk to access
