Thanks, everyone, for watching this video. You can see part 1 here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHvYgX6Oe7mGjcU Also, a freakishly high amount of people are asking about my Bum Bag, so I thought it best to capitalise and make my first million from this Affiliate Link: geni.us/Seral7 and whilst I am pushing my luck, here is a link to my 2022 Photography Calendar, still available: thomasheaton.co.uk/product/2022-calendar/

Most people don't appreciate enough the fact that every shot that Heaton shows up walking far away, he had to set the camera, walk, and then go back to get the gear.

Even if the first 5 minutes you hit a point that I often swear by. Bad boots can make a hike all that worse if you dont have the correct footware. Bumbags are always helpful Thomas. (Fanny pack lol we used to call it that as kids but it seemed to have stuck with so many including myself. Still useful though lol Absolutely stunning location. Massivly jealous I must say. Omg I bet that water was freezing but refeshing! The bad step looks a bit sketchy in places. Haha We've all tried to take short cuts before and ended up in the middle of a bog or two lol. That old house shot was stunning! Omg Ive done the exact same thing before and left my tripod behind and I had a 1.5km walk back to get it. Never will I make that same mistake twice. Really nice pace to this video. I need to learn slow down in my videos a bit. Great video Thomas. Thank you for sharing!

Most anxious bit of this video? Not the Bad Step. No, it was the lens in the grass at 11:30 with no rear cap that was making me sweat.

Same here, but yeah the lens just wanted to cuddle after being left behind for looking after the "lost" tripod. Taking strength of gear serious, in the bumbag I couldn't see any separation or even a cloth between the lens or the body.. But it seems all of the gear survived the trip and after all the marks on the gear are memories of the trip. :-)

I thought at first when you were using the pink spongy towel you were going to end up with a pink rinse lol. Seriously though Thomas this was an outstanding mini-series and Murray, summed it well at the end and that is you delivered an array of stunning images that weren't Skye's honeypot images. You and Murray owned this adventure from the start and that to me is why this is a stand out piece of work. Well done to the both of you 👏 👏

Tom....thank you for sharing your wit and adventures with the world. You are a grand inspiration for all who have followed you. Your storytelling is mesmerizing as time seems to stand still while you sew your words into a humorous and visual tale. While the last several months have been a tough go for the world you have been definitely given hope to all and made do with what you had. As an old story goes, "you have made a silk purse out of a sow's ear". May God bless you in your travels.

Love bum bags! I first used one in the Pyrenees in 1980. I was staying in an hotel and the bum bag held waterproofs and food, all I needed each day. So much easier to carry and much more comfortable than a rucksack in hot weather. Of course I wasn't carrying 2 pro cameras and lenses, just an OM2 and a single zoom round my neck... Bur I've been using bum bags ever since.

Just completed this. My companion did not wish to do the point of Sleat, I did. He was driving so I had to leave at Broadford. I'll be doing it again. With a bike for the last 20+ miles from Broadford to the Sleat lighthouse - thanks for the suggestion! If you haven't yet done the Cuillin Ridge.... it is AWESOME! I've seen that you have a climbing wall in your garage so you'll breeze it (if you haven't already) Best wishes!

Loved watching both series. Very nice sitting on a couch seeing other people puting themselves through..hell......Skye is not for me. I have been there for fotography and after driving 200-300 miles I took exactly 0 pics. Not one. I am bored by landscapes without those magnificent Sitkaspruces you did find in one of your pics or basically any tree. Just barren all over. Ah well....to each their own and it did not matter for this lovely documentary about two guys taking such an effort. When you ate the burger even I as a vegetarian could only imagine how nice it has to be to find such a place in the middle of nowhere. I would have dug in as well, forget about vegatarianism. Thx again!
