Patricia was a good friend, helping to fix her friends’ marriages while her own was in the mud. She never talked about her feelings and kept it all buried, which is the cause of the outburst in the end due to built up anger. I wouldn’t exactly blame her for her son and husband’s deaths, but I’d go ahead to say she is unlucky. And I hope Dwayne’s character doesn’t suffer the same fate as Gavin.

The man was trying to scape from his molester and in the process he was hit by another vehicle; the woman may talk about "healing" and "forgiving herself" but her hands are well covered in blood.

My understanding is that 1: in the first film she had a car accident in wet weather that killed their son. She then refused to acknowledge and grieve properly that then put a strain on their marriage however Gavin stood by her and tried to make it work. 2: in the second film they still had troubles but tried to work through it. Only for her to spring it on Gavin in front of everyone that she filed for divorce. He was not aware it was happening. 3: During their divorce meeting they both agreed to split everything down the middle only for Gavin to realise that she did not disclose the monetary assets for her books (which are written on their and their friends marriages) NOTE: now I'm not a lawyer and I don't know everything about the law but what I do know is even if you have not lived with a spouse for a long time YOU MUST disclose all properties and assets in a divorce. This was probably what caused Gavin's reaction everything up to this point was dictated by her. As such he said he would fight her about this. 3: Gavin gets drunk and then goes to their house berates her about her shut off emotions and burns one of their sons photos while throwing a drink on her hoping to generate a response. 4: this then leads to this where it escalated to her making a scene at her office. He tried to walk away and leave probably to not make it worse but in so doing it caused the car crash. To end the film with Gavin dying and therefore all assets staying with her and to top it off obviously going on a date with Dwayne Johnson it is poor writing at it does not show her owning her own mistakes and growing as a person. The film portrays her a happy ending. Really it should have just ended differently in my opinion

Without them she probably would have no 📚. In the hospital while feeling remorse it was probably more shock. And her friends said it wasn't her fault. Look overall it's a terrible film series but it's just the little things that make it more unrealistic then I feel it's meant to portray. No offence intended

The "you dont wanna end up like me. Fix it!" Followed by them hugging their partners was so...cheesy and unrealistic. Tyler Perry's writing sucks😂. He took the same exact writing style from his plays and transferred them to his movies but it wasn't a smooth transition at all. That "life lesson" lectures he always put in his plays don't work like that in real life which is what lends to the realism of a movie.

It wasn’t an emotional rollercoaster at all (well it would be if I just had a little bit of horizontal movement, then about a 45° diagonal shift downwards and then just a drop into an abyss of emotions), and then they tried to make the ending funny. I ain't gonna lie i can see what type of marriage Patricia & Gavin was based off of, but being honest seen how she pushed her husband to his death i didn't respect the ending.... ( but if there's a lesson learn here in this movie it shows it's always the females & males that act as the responsible friend/adult in the group actually has the most problems & refuse to talked cause they fear being misunderstood more for their mature persona they always put out). It's just such a shame they seem to be the most responsible couple turns out to be the worst. I felt an Angela spirit came out of her but not the good kind. Where Angela gets a way with driving Marcus Crazy it wasn't the same for Patricia & Gavin.
