I have an 08 330i and in my opinion it's the sweet spot for the e92. It's more powerful than the 325i but has the same fuel economy and it's only around 30bhp down on the 335i but uses less fuel and is less than half the price to tax each year and it handles better. It's not M3 quick no but it's still a fast car, it amazes me just how quickly it gets up to the speed limit when I leave my work car park in the evening. I genuinely love my car😊

I used to fly mine through Aurora and Denver on my way to work and I would remind myself that if I could just leave 5 minutes earlier I could beat most of the traffic on Alameda going west. I would take 0-60 runs through the first 3 lights and enjoyed the swooping turns before subjecting myself to morning Target traffic and a mile of lights in 250 ft intervals. Just know you're going to have to replace your valve cover gasket around 100k and you might get an oil catch can leak. I take it on long drives cross country, up mountains, through blizzards passing SUVs and enjoying spirited drives with a variety of friends. It's also very easy to park and has great luggage space.

All kidding aside, for any of you who aren't familiar with BMW and/or the 3 Series, this really IS the last good 3 Series, and I'll tell you why. First of all, BMW switched over to an electric steering rack and completely ruined the phenomenal steering feel. Secondly, the interior fit and finish feels and looks cheap on the next generation 3 Series ( F30 ) compared to this era. And lastly, the chassis dynamics just weren't all there on the F30 either. The F30 isn't a "bad" car. It's just comparing the 2 generations are like comparing Led Zeppelin to KISS. Guess which generation is The Mighty Led Zeppelin? lol Take care fellow Bimmerphiles and Happy Holidays!

The N55 engine isn't nearly as good as the N54, and neither is the turbo package. It was a mistake by BMW. The 2009 and 10 335i are the best ones to own. The upgrades on the 11 ruined the car. I've owned both, and ended up going back to the earlier model just a few years later. And this model does NOT make more power than the earlier models. Not even close. It's also not nearly as buildable. The fact that you are a benz guy, shows that you are NOT a knowledgeable car guy. Benz's are horrible cars, and the biggest maintenance problems on the road. I'll take a bimmer over a benz any day.

Dude, go over to Sam Crac or Hoovie with 100’s of thousands of subscribers and nearly as many comments and the theme is the same week in week out-Modern BMW’s are dogshit. The 80’s are long gone.
@AquaStevae3 жыл бұрын
@@NaNa-wj8tw Spoken like an idiot who is fully educated by morons on the net. German engineering is the best in the world. There is no debating that. But, I keep hearing all these idiots on the net talking shit about a bimmer, and when asked, they've NEVER even owned one. It's all hearsay and conjecture. I've owned SIX! So I don't need to go to some imbecile's website and read the comments of a bunch of other imbeciles to know how good or not modern bimmers are. I own them. I know from empirical facts how good they are. And I belong to a BMW CCA club with over 200 N54 owners, where we discuss everything and regularly go to track events to test them out. We push them hard for hours, and they perform a lot better than almost any cars on the road. I drive my car very hard on the road as well, and all of my bimmers have always taken great care of me. I've not experienced any of the stupid crap the net warriors go on and on about. Why? Because I do the proper maintenance, and take care of the car as it's supposed to be taken care of. 98% of the problems people have had with bimmners are operator error!!!! Isn't it funny how so many COMMON people complain about so many problems with BMW's, yet the enthusiasts who really bother to learn about them, and take care of them NEVER have these same problems? Every BMW I've ever owned except one, I sold with over 200k on them. And they still ran well, and looked good enough for me to sell them. The only one I didn't, was one I totaled. So learn to actually research your topic before spouting off about it. And NO, reading a bunch of comments from net morons is NOT research...
