Suggestion on the video. Lower the volume of your background music and/or raise the volume of your voice. It's especially difficult to listen around 12:00 of the video when the song has "lyrics".

Thanks! I cranked the volume down, but I was exhausted and didn’t watch the full video through one last time before uploading. Will see what I can do next time.

Good video. Quick question for you regarding the AirTag pocket. When a tag is inside, it looks like nothing is inhibiting it from falling out the top of it when held upside down. Curious if this happens (without the water bottle inside and pressed against it). I suppose if it was an issue you could always get some Velcro and add that in, although I don’t know how much depth that pocket has. Thanks
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
I’d say the pocket is about 1.5 to 2 inches deep. I’m sure if you turned your bag upside down and shook it, the airbag would come out. But if I had a habit of shaking my backpack upside down, I’d probably also add Velcro to it.
@HighFrameRate2 жыл бұрын
@@rickharvey4727 Thanks for the depth. Sometimes bags fall over if weight distribution is lopsided when you lay it down, so I was just concerned about it sliding out and falling loose into the bag.
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
@@HighFrameRate I highly doubt it will fall out from just the bag falling over, but I will keep that in mind for my “down the line” review!
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
@@HighFrameRate so this morning, I figured two things out for you. One, the airbag pocket is almost exactly 40 mm in depth, so slightly over 1.5 inches. Also, I put my air tag in the pocket, turned it upside, and shook it. I did NOT have a water bottle inside, and the airbag stayed in the pocket. Hope that helps!

Any chance you could give the dimensions of the lunchbox you have in the big compartment? Trying to determine if a camera cube would fit in there :)

Seems like it strugles with chunky items on the pockets. Can it fit a 40oz water bottle?
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
Yes it absolutely can! My current load out is both my 40 oz bottle (in the water bottle pocket) and my shaker cup from the video right next to it. I’ll post a follow-up video in a couple weeks with my finalized daily carries and review.

Great video mate! I do have a question for you. What was the time from when you ordered until when you recieved the backpack?
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
So I'm probably a pretty bad metric. The day they released I had off, so I literally ordered the moment they released, before I even got the notification e-mail. I was probably in the first 30 or so orders.

So I know you have an airtag in the "airtag pocket", but do you think the pocket would accommodate different Tracker's like Tile's and Galaxy Trackers? I exclusively use Samsung so I was hoping to be able to use the Galaxy Tracker in the pocket.
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
Do you have a size on a tile or galaxy tracker? I can check it out when I get up in the morning.
@LtexprsGaming2 жыл бұрын
@@rickharvey4727 yeah. Per online specs, the Galaxy Tracker dimensions are (39.1mm x 39.1mm x 9.9mm). Thank you for getting back to me and offering to check for me. Nowhere on the product page or video does it mention other Tracker's compatibility or the dimensions of the pocket so I've been worried that it would be stuck to apple only, which would suck.
@juggernaugh753212 жыл бұрын
I saw someone else with the bag mention they were able to fit the Samsung tracker but it was tight.
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
@@LtexprsGaming ok so here’s what I did. I cut 3 pieces of cardboard that were 40 mm x 40 mm, and stacked them together, so about the right thickness, and tried to stuff them in the pocket. Given that, a Galaxy tracker SHOULD fit, but I don’t have one to check for certain.

@@juggernaugh75321 based on my testing this morning, I would say that’s probably accurate.

What are your thoughts on the weight/size? Say for a college student? My kid wants one. But it seems big and heavy. And expensive lol.
@rickharvey4727 Жыл бұрын
If you don’t have a ton of textbooks, the weight is t bad. And it’s quite comfy to tote around. I love it for school, really easy to find all my stuff. And it doubles as a work backpack too. I’m going to be posting a follow-up video next week with my final thoughts, but overall I would highly recommend it if you can comfortably afford it.

I decided to go with the MOS Blackpack, which the LTT bag was shall we say “heavily inspired” by, but quite a bit more inexpensive. This looks like a solid bag though, just a little too bulky. They need a slim version.

Yeah, for that much weight, I'd seriously consider a proper, weight bearing backpack with a hip belt. Why? Degenerative spine disease, which will become an inevitability in later life, carrying heavy loads. And it's not like that backpack doesn't stand out already. It's huge. You might as well preserve your spine while you're at it.

How do you like the framework laptop?
@rickharvey47272 жыл бұрын
Thus far I’m quite satisfied with it. I’m not really a power user for laptops, mostly just homework and note taking, with some light KZbin watching. My biggest complaints are the touch pad is meh, and the down firing speakers never feel quite loud enough. But I’ll honestly take those trade offs given the repair ability. Also, it struggled a bit with editing this video, but it managed it pretty well!
