Hell yea. I drive an 09’ FA5 as my family car. It’s a stock long block k20z3 with a kraftwerks supercharger. It makes 346whp on 93 pump. Has two baby seats in the back seat and I put 50 miles on it daily to work. Best daily period!

I'm 100% with Zosh on the body. I do like the 4 doors more then the 2 doors. The 2 door ones look goofy in the back. But I've always kinda like these civics. I drove a regular one and it has a pretty dope interior for 2007 looked super futuristic but in a cool way kinda like digital gauges in the 90s. That the best way to compare it. Honestly if I had to get a more modern Honda this too would be my option. Tho this year model is not much old then my Mazda

Owned an auto 2007 4-door EX with factory spoiler (with brake light) in Royal Blue Pearl with good paint. Got T-Boned (driver side) 3yrs ago and miss it, crazy because i was looking at Si's at the time, also a Mugen which needed a paintjob and wheels were curbed. Last year around this time i bought a 2007 Nighthawk Black Pearl Civic LX Coupe with alloy wheels, rear disc brakes, HID fog lights and tinted windows with rainguards. It was the only manual in my area with low mileage and bonus features, also the Si's were either beat to hell or spam besides i really needed a car because i had to get to work since i drive commercial trucks and buses. Wasn't fond of the coupes and only liked the front-end, yet coupes grew on me. I taught myself how to drive stick which i got down in a month by forcing myself. Even though i miss the sunroof i am glad i dont have it since the car feels so much lighter! I have since installed Angel eye headlights, LED rear tail-lights and Tsudo exhaust. Going to do the wheels and suspension, then more performance mods/tune and lastly, will work on exterior & interior. Want to K20 swap it with maybe an Acura transmission since i want to push more than 330-340HP. The good thing is that 8th gen coupes are not that common around here and it looks and feels more sportier not to mention light than the sedan. Looking for an EVO X, yet think i should finish my car first.

People always ask me witg how much money I was making when I bought my 8th gen why I didn’t buy the evo. Cause a boosted k series was the dream. I can’t get rid of my 8th gen it’s a great car in the 3 years I’ve had it, it has never I mean never ever had a check engine light. I’ve barely replaced anything. I’ve only done typical maintenance. The 8th gen is the last real authentic vtec Honda made. There will never be another real vtec motor. It’s a shame. Cause vtec is like crack

Yupp I had a 2005 Acura Rsx Type S for a few years and now I have a 2009 Honda Civic Si sedan. HUGGEE difference, I hated that the RSX doesn’t have an arm rest , the leather seats are hard , but the hatch was nice and I liked the k20z1 better , but apart from that, the FA5 takes everything else , more comfortable, better interior, LSD, RBC, 4 doors , huge trunk space, and it looks sporty especially with a jdm type R conversion.

lol im doing the same out in cali but there does not seem to be much of a point to swap the head. on 91 oct out here there is barely a 15hp diff with the k20 head and it has less torque. So i just been sitting on my swap for a min. love seeing your reaction made me want to go swap it right now lol. next time you come to cali you can do a review on one of my cars my k24 8th gen my 9th gen coupe or my evo x mr keep the content flowing good job pimp.

Lol imagine if he drove my 2010 Gtr. I have the 2008 4 door si as my daily driver with the factory lip , it is a fun car , I remember when they first came out and I got denied credit for it , me and my wife laugh about it now. I’m about to do a k24 built bottom end with a skunk2 built head all motor . Then the Gtr will get built after that . Lol because the civic build is cheaper and I could do it in a shorter time to enjoy it. Love the vids keep it dred!

I'm a larger fan of the 9thgen coupe si with k20/k24, sucks because there's not a lot of body mod options for the fg4. I really do like a N/A car, I feel the sounds are just as good as FI cars. If you ever in SF Bay Area and need a daily to use for a few days, my 9th gen will be available.
