I am so happy that you picked up Shadow of The Gods! I still remember commenting about that book back in 2021, and it's so good to see things come full circle. All I'm going to say about it is...Orka is an absolute badass and is easily one of my favorite female characters

I reread Shadw and Hunger of the Gods last month! And read the new final book 3. It is fantastic, and Orka is the muscle mommy we all deserve! I just finished a Wild Hunt book yesterday. It was The Wild Huntress by Emily Lloyd-Jones, and I really enjoyed it! The lore is a bit different but still very solid. Got the rec from ChanelChapters who 5☆ed it. Just read a very good folk horror book called The Unmothers by LeslieAnderson, where a reporter goes to a small town to investigate a horse giving birth to a human baby. Added the song of the Huntress to my wishlist, I'm very intrigued, so it may not stay there long…

I just got The Beholder by Ryan La Sala ans Dont Let The Forest In by CG Drews and I cant wait to read them. From July until now has been the time for me to discover that I love certain fantasy YA horror novels and thats a wild development for me 😂

The way I feel this 2:45 so much 😅 I have been reading mostly books by women for the past years and I have been having the best time ever. But when I occasionally add a book written by a man, it's like flipping a coin, sometimes I regret it so much, but sometimes it's great! The shadow of the gods by John Gwynne is definitely worth it 🩵

Absolutely 'adult' toys can be used by younger people, but in this case they were sent to minors without permission. Not only should the company be getting consent to send toys to people in general, but they were sent with no prior warning, which made quite a few minors uncomfortable being perceived in a sexual manor and getting a few of them who were in unsafe family environments in trouble with their families. If we want to model healthy and safe sexual wellness behaviour, especially for queer books and queer bodies, there should have been prior communication and consent for all parties involved.
