I wanted to talk about Assassin's Creed Unity but sometimes it's hard to stay focused on the positive when there's so much negative to rant about.

Really like the points brought up here. I feel like nowadays it’s more about selling a game than making one, and as such we’re getting a lot of overpriced trash instead of the proper passion projects, and these big studios don’t understand why people don’t wanna buy their multimillion dollar game with more bugs and jank than actual content, then blame the developers who barely had any say in the creative process, and then fire those same people. Kinda sad.

Unexpected on Unity, I tried to like Odyssey, I really did but I couldn't. I remember when I played Valhalla for ten hours or so, I looked up how long it took to beat it and X'd out when I saw it, man

I've been saturated by Assassin's Creed games as well, but just recently I gave Mirage a chance and was really surprised. The game is fun and not massive like Odyssey and Valhalla, really liked the atmosphere and story. Took me only 32 hours to get the platinum trophy.

The fact that Ubisoft, A FRENCH COMPANY, just casually used the same British sounding voice actors for all the soldiers in AC Unity that they had previously used in AC 3 & 4 in their game about REVOLUTIONARY FRANCE, really says something about how much they care about the level of quality they put out even back then. If they don’t hold their own country’s history to a high enough standard to cast a couple French sounding soldiers, how did we ever expect them to care about preserving the franchise? Like to me that bothers me so fucking much. Playing a game made by a French company, set in France, and I walk up to every soldier only to hear them speaking in a cockney English accent.

Interesting thumbnail you’ve got there. But I fucking loved Unity. It’s my second favorite game after black flag almost entirely due to the coop. But also the customization was so awesome.

AC Unity is my all time favorite AC game Also no matter how many times I start Syndicate I can’t even get 7 hours in AC Origins is the only game I enjoyed after Unity if u feel like giving it a try this nobody’s killin me😂

I played unity with a friend and I quit because the parkour feels way to floaty and the co op is laggy where I live but other than that the plot and graphics are solid, I wish the game was a bit more polished though.

I played this again recently for the first time since launch, and was surprised how much I liked it - and confused as to why I was underwhelmed about it back then. The action is so much better than recent hack n' bash nonsense, and graphics-wise it's just beautiful!
