The Quin was one of the best pubs in Ireland, didn't matter who you were, what nationality you were, everyone was welcome and joined in on the craic, some of the stories are legendary. Barrack St was never the same when the Quinryan closed its doors.

Scary looking back now ..to when our city was a small place With small faces ..that barracks st is no more ..the students and gentrification the coffee shops and the junkies ..those from far away ..and those u decided to stay ..i miss you dearly Cork city

Great pub, I remember going in there as a kid with my granda, and playing pool down the back against my dad. I even went back there for a lock-in after a debs withone of the owners sons. I've nothing but good memories of the place and its a shame to see it go.

Was in there 2003 on my stag weekend - Vincy bless him (singing everything) good snuff, a toilet that cleared your sinuses and the cheapest pint of Beamish around! Very sad it's gone - grand old place like
