Thanks for sharing man! Love anything you make. I appreciate being able to learn about older gear. Precursor to the SPs? That knowledge alone is actually pretty cool to know

Thanks for your Videos! I got my MS-1 about 2 weeks ago and your Videos really helped me; especially this episode! I love what the MS-1 can do to Drums and Horns.

I had this sampler for a while and it was difficult to work with, but had a super lofi sound and great re-pitch range!

Oh really? I find it quite easy and intuitive. It’s not great for full beats but for grabbing samples and pitching + the sample rates I really dig it!

Nice video. The trim function reminds me on the MPC 500.

Thanks for tuning in again man! Its a bit fiddly with getting the end points but I still kinda like it

I feel like there’s just not enough ultra simple samplers, limitation breeds creativity

Curious if this has something to offer that the new p-6 doesn’t have as far as sound processing.

I've not tried a P6 yet but I would say the p6 probably has more to offer from what I've seen. The MS-1 only really has time stretch and sample grades.
