after beating this game I couldn’t help but think “Wow I can’t imagine anybody wanting to speedrun this game...” but here we are. She has the patience of a saint to have to deal with Trico deciding not to listen etc.

It bothers me that they call Trico a "chicken-dog" through this whole thing. He's clearly more catlike in his body, particularly the way he arches his back and the size and movement of his tail. IDK, it just bothers me.

I get it, but I think they're referring more towards Trico's attitude and mannerisms which are much like a dog's. I agree though that he looks a lot more feline.

I’m also learning it! (Casually lol) When I first started I was alternating between triangle and up control stick but I just found out you can do it by simply hitting up on the control stick a bunch of times in a rhythm.

I know this is possibly a dumb question but is this done on the ps4??? I tried following your video and I can't help but feel it has to be a different version. You seem to be able to get your character to "RUN" flawlessly and I can't seem to get my guy to MOVE at all without jumping or rolling constantly. It's absolutely atrocious. Given you managed to do it in such a quick time I figured with THAT much room for error I would still manage but no... Still didn't get the trophy. If this is on the ps4 is there SOME trick to actually run??? I have no issues with Trico...

I'm sorry, but how is a speedrun just over 3 and a half hours, but the trophy is to do it in 5 hours or less? You need to be an absolute god at this game!

Not really the same runner has a speedrun guide where she died multiple times, didn't go for bride/white tower skip and got herself intentionally stuck just so that she could show how to get unstuck and achieved ~3:40 h. Not only is this much better than even 4 hours the achievement doesn't count time spend in cutscenes so even if you didn't do any of the simple tricks in the run and just learned how tricos AI worked and how to get unstuck you can easily get a sub 4 h run.
