14:55 I remember my elders telling me the same thing as this uncle. Before the arrival of Christianity in Arunachal Pradesh, especially in Itanagar, there were often inter-tribal conflicts between the Nyishi and Apatani tribes. However, with the acceptance of one faith and modernization, things became more peaceful.

It is the imaginary boundary that has divided the tribals of Nagaland and Myanmar. The people from both borders belong to the same tribe (same ancestry), same language, same custom and traditions etc. The govt of India estd Free Movement Regime for these reasons, but recently the govt has proposed to scrap the Act. NE is a beautiful place with beautiful people, but also very much neglected by govt of India. Thank you Mr. Jonathan for visiting NE.

Konyak has nearly 200 villages(within Nagaland)and is said to be most populated then any other tribes in Nagaland...Konyaks can be found in Myanmar, Arunachal Pradesh and few in Assam... The living style and dialects of every villages is different (Ofcourse closed villages can understand each other languages)...for instance, Upper Konyak languages can never be understand by the lower Konyak...the interesting thing is that every villages has their own gun makers and based on from generation to generation❤.. They literally live in the clouds. Do they have citizenship of both India and Myanmar? Are there any board controls or something? Do you need to get visas for both India and Myanmar?
@Leon.-nm7ci7 күн бұрын
We are only separated by the border line and politics. We don't need visa for visiting our own, brothers,sisters,uncle&aunties. Incase if we run out of drinks, we go Myanmar to get some drinks. If my kind from Myanmar runs out from salt we hand them salts (those only.... isn't about!!!. And yes! We (Konyak tribe) and the other following tribes of NAGA'S don't need visa for Myanmar. But people from India. But Indians isn't allowed without visa. We can even go by walking. HONGPHOI my native village. Proud to be born between this warriors. Just sharing in brief history of Nagas (Naga-land).. Nagas are not indian, Nagas declared independence in 14 august 1947 one day ahead india declared their independence and after that in 1955-56 indian army came to Naga area, and 1956-57 all Naga villages all houses were burnt down, and thousands and thousands of inocent Nagas were torture and killed and thousands of Naga women's were raped and forcefully invaded our land, India-myanmar border was created in 1967, Nagas divided into 4 states in India and 2 province in Myanmar by Indian govt. Nagas have total 57 tribes and only 19 recognised tribes in the state of Nagaland..
