TLK, in my humble opinion, is 1 of the greatest Early Medieval TV Shows/Movies ever made and it is a little sad how it is not more widely known. Maybe because it started on the BBC first and the BBC, even over here in Britain, did not promote it quite as much as some of their other big shows to be honest. As a Brit who has read and studied a fair amount of our history from this period I had started to get a bit fed up with the total disregard for historical accuracy being demonstrated by "The Vikings" and so when I 1st saw the trailer for TLK on BBC 1 I was quite excited to see this brand new TV series begin. On top of that, being a Brit with no Cable TV at that time, with TLK being a BBC show I could actually watch it whereas I couldn't watch "Game of Thrones" when it 1st aired sadly. Finally, I've always been a fan of Bernard Cornwell's (the writer) and so TLK already had a head-start in my mind over various other shows/movies in this genre. All of that was a slightly long-winded way of saying that I find it a great shame that there are not more online reactions to this incredible TV series. Also, as a side note it is quite interesting how, of those few reactions online, so many of them state that they had just recently finished "Game of Thrones" and were looking for a new early-medieval drama to enjoy but were holding off on TLK because they wanted to fully finish "The Vikings" first. I guess that is understandable because it may well become a tad confusing, especially if you do not have a decent understanding that many of these characters are specific, historical people who existed. I suppose it would also make sense to finish "The Vikings" first before starting on TLK because, if other people are anything like me, TLK is so good, so superior, I literally stopped watching "The Vikings" altogether! Mid-season too! And now I'm not entirely sure where I was in "The Vikings" anymore!! Truth be told, after watching TLK, I REALLY struggle going back to "The Vikings" even if I could remember where I was. Everybody is different, so maybe it wouldn't bother others as much as it bothered me but, if any potential future TLK watcher who is a fan of "The Vikings" has actually managed to read this far into this incredibly long-winded post then, as much as I want TLK to get the recognition it truly deserves, I probably do recommend you finish "The Vikings" first in its entirety

Lol I read the entire message. Well I see that you are passionate about this show which is understandable being that you are from Britain and you are into the history. I started this show because how much I enjoyed Vikings, GOT & HOTD and like those shows the 1st episode got me hooked. Oh cool. Great series! You'll like it! Also yeah that wasn't Ragnar Lothbrok. Ragnar Lothbrok has been deaf for years by now. Ubba/Ubbe is a general in the Heathen Army. The great Viking armada that invades england.. Ivar is a legendary warlord in Ireland. The Ragnar family in this series is from the Ravn bloodline. different family, different story. The son for example is named Ragnar Ragnarsson. And now you know Uhtred Ragnarsson, the adopted son of Earl Ragnar Ravnsson, or Ragnar The Fearless This story is epic. You're in for a rollercoaster 😌 Destiny is all 🙏

I decided to watch The Last Kingdom because of what you said in the intro of this first reaction video. You mentioned that people were telling you that they really like the show. Without watching your reaction, I immediately clicked off of this video and binged watched the entire first season! Now, I'm about to watch your reactions, starting with your first reaction (season 1, ep. 1). In my opinion, yhis series seems like a weekly series you'd see on CBS (minus the adult content/explicit language). I mostly likely won't be watching any of the other seasons, but I'll definitely be watching your reactions!

I’m just recently found you! Once I saw that you did/are doing TLK, I subscribed! I’m so happy you enjoyed S1E1. It get BETTER and BETTER!
