Hilarious how the only reason Edward is alive is because of Uhtred and his “Pagan” girlfriend Iseult, and Ealhswith is still on her bullshit high-horse about how Edward needs to be the untarnished “God’s King”! Poor Thyra, poor Beocca. Thyra having to experience that fire was so cruel.

Wow. What a season finale. Friggin tense as hell the entire episode. It looks like Aetheldickhead will be the villain in S4. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Alsewith pulls some BS too. That scene with Uhtred and Beorrca in the jail cell was so powerful. Alexander Dreymon is a phenomenal actor. You feel Uhtred's pain and anger when he learns of Thyra death. 😢

Jess Witherspoon but before Alfred expected him to serve Edward for life. Now Uhtred is a free man who will serve him only until he is strong enough to "King" on his own. Then Uhtred can make his way back to his own lands.
