Where there are battles to be filmed there's stunt training to be done, and Season 4 certainly isn't short of a scuffle or two! Emily Cox has been hard at work honing her combat skills and allowed us to tag along.

FatalxDecaay all Professional archers probably thought like this back than. There are some sources about archers holding 3 arrows in their hand shooting every 2 seconds. But Not gonna lie he still has mad skills!

@@Tom-mk7nd Also his form doesn't look good to me. Grip and stance don't look appropriately diagonal. And Emily's shooting even after the lesson was so bad I'm not sure if she was taught well at all haha. (I'm just an intermediate/beginner archer though so idk).

@@Foneio I think I have to disagree with this slightly. If you watch in slowmo he does all the things you'd expect an archer to do like releasing the string near his jaw. The one thing that isn't so great is how his hand moves after releasing the string, but I am chalking that up to him trying to move fast to get the next arrow.

Brida is a very complex character and if you look at it from Uhtred's POV she seems annoying and isn't making that much sense. But if you look at it from Brida's POV she was betrayed by Cnut and then betrayed by Uhtred from the one thing that matters the most to her most(Valhalla). It makes sense why she is so hell bent on revenge, and just so angry all the time. That anger is making her judgement not the best.

If TLK would have given us more of Brida's backstory, like the book did, everyone would understand why Brida is, ultimately, the way she is. Excellent work from Emily Cox!

Personally, I am curious to see if they will take the character of Brida as far as they do in the 'Warriors of the Storm' book which would make up the first half of Season 5 should it get renewed for another season. I get the feeling that they won't go quite as far as the books did with Brida thinking that she can directly challenge the Gods, but I do think we will see a more emotional character driven by anger going forward.
