pretty sure the only confirmed thing is a different timeslot. Everything else is just speculation. They can't fix pacing unless they start doing it completely differently, ie switch to seasonal/filler arcs/remaster older arcs regularly. They're already pretty close to catching up to the manga and if they do the typical 3-4 chapters per episode like most anime do, they'll catch up very quickly

He's just saying what this hiatus and timeslot change could bring and probably what he hopes it does for the production. I'm personally hoping specifically for pacing issues to be addressed.

Garp is honestly my favourite character in One Piece. He defies the norm of what viewers in one piece believe is correct. He stands for real Justice, for the future protectors of the people. He is just as free willed as the rest of the D characters and his will, will live on in what the future Navy will stand for. Legendary character ✊

It's so poetic. The two disciples. Kuzan the defector, who choose to quit from Marine, stood quietly, listening as his old master delivered a stirring speech to the new future marines-idealistic souls who still believed in their sense of justice. Indirectly telling him, it's not you Kuzan, it's them. They are the future. Garp is so proud of Koby. The grandson he never had. The path Luffy suppose to take. The Impact he suppose to pass down to Dragon and Luffy. Garp experiencing disappointment twice. Last episode tell us that when Dragon and Luffy take a different path. He loves Koby so much.

IM BAKED RN BUT IM ALSO COOKING the fact that coby who was saved, looked back at garp and decided to leave him, is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what ace did when he was saved and turned back to akainu instead of leaving.. could mean that if coby in that seccond decided to go back for garb he would have died like ace? ps. yo aokiji froze himself to cover up his tears in the end pps. Garb was training with battleships since he was 30 more or less and COBE AN ABSOLUTE UNIT, STARTED WHEN HE WAS 12 OR 14 or sum PPPS. The woman that yelled at Garp in the flashback is Vice-Admiral Hototogisu (voiced by Arisa Tsuruno) she is named after the Japanese name for the lesser cuckoo & that she is one of the female subordinates of Vice Admiral Tsuru you can see her during the Dressrosa arc
